Cozy, catfriendly - Edit
A cozy place with nice people. 2 of the 4 cats we haven't seen, but it is very catfriendly they can go out when there are too many people are if they otherwise don't want to see strangers. There were 2 vegan sandwiches. Tasty, but standard sandwiches (with vegan cheese, vegetables and smokey tofu). One of the cats (Emma?) loves to go to the toilet with all female visitors!

The Schamong coffee tastes good, but the lemon cake was not baked well, the pastry was nearly raw.
Read moreThe waitress was not friendly. But the worst thing are cats. It‘s to hot in the cafe for them and they looked mangy, scruffy and to skinny.
You have to pay for the entrance, but I didn‘t know that. The waitress wanted 13€ for a cappuccino and a small piece of cake. I was only 15 minutes there. That‘s a kind of extortion. The poor kitty‘s don’t get enough from this prizes by the look of them. 😭😭

Brilliant flavors - Edit
This little café managed to deliver some of the most incredible food I’ve ever had. I could never have imagined a pancake dish with carrot lox and a little bit of sweetness, but it was brilliant and perfect. The service was great! It was nice getting to pet kitties while we were there.

Very unique experience - Edit
Cafe schnurrke’s owners are really friendly. The prices are brilliant value and the food is delicious. There is a really laid-back, chill atmosphere. There are cats roaming around the cafe they even jump on the tables so bare that in mind if it makes you uncomfortable!

Worst coffee ever - Edit
This is a little cafe with cats. To be fair, I was there 3 minutes to take a coffee away. The place seems cool and the waitress was really nice but what an awful and pricy coffee. I asked for a super cappuccino, like extra milk and foam (it is on their menu) I paid more than 5euros for a bad coffee, elongated with water almost no milk (this was the main goal of this peculiar choice). Horrible. Really horrible

Ein sehr gemütliches Kaffee mit guter Verkehrsanbindung. Es macht Spaß Kuchen zu essen und dabei den Katzen beim Spielen oder schlafen zuzugucken. Die Küche ist zudem komplett abgetrennt und die Katzen können dort nicht hin.

Discreet music in the background, pleasant conversation volume.

Auf der vegetarischen Speisekarte gibt es viele vegane Gerichte. Auch Milchkaffee wird mit Soja Milch angeboten. Wir hatten Hummus und eine Brotzeit, sowie zwei sehr leckere Kuchen. Went here yesterday with a friend, on a Saturday afternoon. We almost didn't get a seat because every spot was reservated. But we were lucky. The Matcha-Latte was sold out unfortunately, so he ordered a "Chai-Oatmilk-Latte" and me I got myself a "Coffee-Oatmilk-Latte". Both drinks a bit expensive with 3,20 or 3,80 € each, but ok. For that you get the catshow included, cuddles and very friendly cats all over the places. Will definitely come back to try those vegan cakes!

My girlfriend and I are both vegans and cat-lovers, so we stopped in here today. Soy milk is available for the coffee drinks, most of the food options can be made vegan, and about half of the desserts were vegan. We had two coffee drinks, two ciabatta sandwiches, and some strudel for dessert. Everything was great and we'd happily order it all again.
Read moreThe two resident cats are friendly but not pushy. They never took any interest in our food or drinks, but instead came by a few times for petting or playing.
No English menus were available, but the woman working there spoke excellent English, and was very helpful and friendly.
The prices were quite reasonable.
All in all, we enjoyed our visit and hope to return if we get the opportunity to return to Cologne!
Also, contrary to the HappyCow listing, the café opened today (Tuesday) at 12 (not 11). This is not the first time I've found that HappyCow is not accurate about restaurant hours, so I highly recommend that you double check on the restaurant's web page or Facebook page.
Pros: Cats! Good food and coffee. Inexpensive. Friendly
Cons: Not all vegan. Only 2 cats. :)

Vegan cakes are to point out - Edit
Cafe with two cats guarding the venue. Fair amount of vegan options, especially the cakes are worth mentioning. Good coffee, too. I went once for coffee and cake and a second time for a ciabatta tofu sandwich and coffee + cake - nice atmosphere and good service.
Read moreCats will leave you in peace if you don't encourage them. The venue is fairly spacious, and you can easily sit there for longer. Good WiFi connection. Fair portions and prices.
Breakfast only on weekends.
They charge extra for soy milk (should be the other way round in my opinion).
Note that Monday is closed. Also, mind the doors entering (since there are cats).
