Good options - Edit
Quite a number of good vegan options here. I tried the lentil soup and stuffed vine leaves. Both were really nice. Complimentary bread went nicely with the soup!

Nice food - Edit
Local restaurant with lovely owners, they understood what vegan means. The food was nice, but the dishes that I chose were a bit bland.

Beef in my bean stew - Edit
Although I said no beef, there were some beef pieces in my bean stew. She tried fishing them out before and didn‘t think it was a big problem. Disappointed and would not recommend.

Family owned restaurant with amazing turkish food - Edit
We had a really nice dinner here, in contrast to other reviews it was really clean and cozy.
Read moreWe had the lentil soup, beans in tomato sauce (our absolute favourite!) and vegan gözleme filled with potatoes, parsnip and tomato sauce. Everything tasted super delicious and you can watch how your food is prepared freshly in the kitchen.
We had a nice chat with the family that runs the restaurant, they are super friendly and know the region well since they grew up here.
For our food fresh orange juice we payed under 1000 lira, which is a really good price for this region.
Absolutely recommend it!
Pros: Authentic & delicious , Affordable , Family owned
Cons: Serves meat, specify no cheese/yogurt when orderin

I literally escaped from this place! - Edit
Wanted to eat here this afternoon. Luckily no one was there, so before I had to order, I could just escape. I am wondering how this place has these good ratings. Everything seemed dirty, the chair I wanted to sit on was extremely filthy. I also touched the menu card, it was literally sticky. I don't recommend this place to anyone!

Love this place - Edit
The family are lovely who run this restaurant. They understood what vegan is and told us what could be made vegan, we tried the vine leaves (our favourite), lentil soup, mushroom gozeleme and the salad. Everything really nice and reasonable prices for Goreme.

Favourite place in Goreme - Edit
We struggled to get good food at a reasonable price in Goreme. This place was our favourite, unlike a lot of places here that charge crazy amounts, this place has good vegan options (as others have said - we had lentil soup, vegan kebab and gozleme) that we really enjoyed and at a really good price. Super friendly staff too. No vegan baklava so don't get your hopes up there!

Friendly and tasty - Edit
I went twice and it was tasty and they were very friendly. You can ask to change the gozleme to put what you want and the coffee is very good. I suggest a gozleme with spinach, oignons and potatos. The price are low.

Extremely friendly family - Edit
Ate here multiple times and always greeted with a smile.
Read moreThe vegetarian kebab is accidentally vegan and was different each time I ordered it but always tasty. The lentil soup was great, the hummus was tasty (served with a loaf of white bread).
Do recommend.
They also have a hostel attached to the cafe.

Not great - Edit
I came here for lunch and ordered lentil soup and hummus. I did not see the clay pots on the menu or some of the other options other reviews have mentioned. Maybe the menu changed?
Read moreLentil soup was quite tasteless, I added a lot of salt and pepper to give it some sort of flavor. The hummus was also not excellent, but passable. Served with loaf of white bread.
The food filled me up, but it really wasn't great. Maybe I missed something?

Read moreThe vegetarian kabab, Safak special (gozleme), lentil soup and hummus was our daily lunch/dinner honestly it’s all made well and bread seems fresh daily.
Friendly staff however not the biggest English speakers.
This was all together around 200-250L plus drinks.

They try to accommodate vegans - Edit
Not super tasty food (again, it’s made for tourists rather than local way).
Read moreWe tried the breakfast and ask to have it vegan (except for omlette for my non vegan boyfriend). As you can see, she tried her best, which is important for us.
She speaks little English and tries to help vegans.
Commission for card is 10 TL for each 100 TL
Pros: Lovely owner
Cons: Cash only (or commission for card)

Vegan gözleme, kebab & baklava - Edit
They have vegan gözleme and kebab. The baklava is also vegan, that’s why we chose this place.
Read moreThe kebab could use a souce, other than that it was tasty. The gözleme and the baklava were very good as well.
About the price: we paid 395TL for two gözlemes, a vegetarian plate (it can be veganized), a kebab, a big bottle of water, a mug of tea and one portion of baklava.
