The only place I went in Jodhpur, but not regretting it - Edit

It's a very small, simple place but that has direct view on the Clock Tower, one of the only point of interest in this city besides the majestic fort.
The owners are very friendly, and can advise immediately about meals that are strictly vegetarian (i.e. vegan), and if they can be made vegan. There are very few food choice and not enough green veggies on the menu IMO, but for breakfast or a few days it's perfectly fine, and good; try the tikki chola.
Coffees or shakes made with soy milk are very good too.

PS: if you're racist, be on your way, you're not welcome there. (It's written on the wall.)

Pros: Very good, and definitely not expensive, Friendly and good values, You sit by Clock Tower roundabout

Cons: Small menu, No real green veggy-based meal, Could become 100% vegetarian (i.e. vegan) ;)

lovely place in the center of Jodhpur - Edit

This lovely family owned restaurant offers a big variety of vegan options: the soy milk coffees and chai are great as well as their food. What makes this place most special is the warm-hearted family and the lovely view at the vivid market. You tip with a smile. :)

We tried the vada pav and then we came back for the masala chai with soy milk. So delicious and filling! The staff is so nice and friendly.

They HAVE soy milk but you have to ask as not on the menu
They will “veganise” items on the menu but no specific vegan dishes
Lovely staff - so friendly. Told us where we could buy our own soya milk from!!

Soya milk chai! - Edit

Lovely outdoor cafe overlooking the Clock Tower and bustling market. Run by an extremely friendly and accommodating family. Importantly, they provide soya milk so their teas and coffees can be made vegan-friendly. Their soya milk chai is outstanding. We didn't try any of the food so I can't comment on that.

Pros: Friendly owners, Soya milk chai, Great location

Cons: Dusty surroundings

Pleasant experience - Edit

A tiny cafe with just a few places to sit down, right next to the Clock Tower. Vegan items are not clearly labelled, so you need to ask the staff, the same goes for the soy milk - it's not listed on the menu.
There's approximately 3 vegan rice dishes and the soy milk for your coffee/tea. We wanted something sweet, but there was nothing on the menu. However, the staff offered to prepare something special. We discussed the possibilities and the staff double checked the ingredients to make sure there were no animal products. They were extremely polite and simply went above and beyond. A truly great service! Good value for the money as well.

Pros: Great service, the staff goes above and beyond, Soy milk for your coffee/tea, Good location

Cons: Vegan items not clearly labelled
