Fast service...decent variety - Edit
I ordered the Buffalo chickpea sandwich, made vegan, and added avocado. The staff were clear about the bread substitutes that would be made to veganize the sandwich and the food came out quickly. My husband asked about the vegan option for a sandwich that was listed as vegetarian, but quickly found out that there wouldn't be much left on that sandwich, if it was veganized. The cafe does not have a vegan egg replacer or vegan cheese. They do have vegan bread for sandwiches. They also have smoothies, vegan waffles, acai bowls, and several vegan coffee drinks. They carry Hippeas and Mush products at the register. Good option for a quick breakfast or lunch on the boardwalk.
Read moreUPDATE... now has vegan egg and cheese! Returned again in August 2022 and they now have a vegan breakfast sandwich, which includes Just Egg, vegan cheese, and mushroom "bacon" on a vegan roll. I ordered that and added avocado...it was delicious and easy to take for breakfast on the beach.
