Disappointing - Edit
First: they offer cow milk and want extra money for plant milk, no idea why Happycow listed the place vegan (i reported it). It was weird because i asked if the place is fully vegan, the lady said yes, i noticed cow milk on the desk, pointed at it and she added the cow milk is the only exception. Why not clearly saying the place is only vegetarian and not vegan when i ask for it...? I avoid not-100%-vegan places when i can. At least all food is vegan.
Read moreThe staff was friendly and i liked the busy atmosphere. I ordered two different Mezze which came with ONE bread. Which was not pita bread. And obviously ONE bread is not enough for TWO dishes so i ordered more. It took them ages. I waited and waited and had to ask twice (two different waitresses) until i got another bread and could finally go on with eating. The Labneh was good, the hummus only okayish, nothing fancy. But damn, i want to enjoy Hummus with pita anyway, not some random wheat flour bread.
On top, i had to read some "Free Gaza" and "Free Palestine" propaganda garbage in the restroom.
Not recommended, unfortunately.

A Must-Try Gem in Berlin 🌿✨ - Edit
This place is an absolute must when you’re in Berlin! Every dish was bursting with flavor — truly one of those meals you keep thinking about after. I even brought my non-vegan parents here, and their jaws literally dropped at how good everything was! The place was super packed (we barely had any room to move), so they could definitely use a bigger location — but honestly, that just shows how amazing the food is. 100/10, highly recommend!

It is not a vegan place - Edit
They serve cow’s milk for coffee (and probably other things too)…
Read moreOn top of that, they charge €0.30 extra for oat milk. Makes no sense at all for a place that calls itself “vegan.”
The food tastes good, but I honestly can’t trust that everything here is truly vegan.

We really had a great time. Food was great and people were very nice. We had the brotsalat, hummus, hot aubergine, blumenkohl (very, very good!) and the potatoes 🤩 ... We enjoyed it so much!

Fab vegan Levantine food - Edit
Cosy all vegan restaurant best for family style dining. I highly recommend booking a table. Friendly staff, super atmosphere. We ordered seven of the dishes between us. My personal favourite was the dip that comes with the smashed potatoes. The hummus was also very nice and the Tahinu had a nice Harissa kick to it.

Unreal - Edit
Delicious food! I love the tapas-style service. I’m so glad I finally got to visit this place. I had tried to go on a previous trip to Berlin, but they were fully booked. This time, I managed to get a table, and it was absolutely worth the wait!

One of the highlights of my visit to Berlin - Edit
Fresh off a late breakfast at Lonely Hearts Cafe, I settled for just two food options: labneh (first time) and cauliflower siniya. Both dishes were quickly served and looked and tasted beautifully. To top things off, I opted for a halva ice cream that turned out to be just as gorgeous as anticipated. Staff were friendly and the venue had somewhat of a hip vibe to it, but not to the point where it felt faddy or elitist. I would be delighted to return anytime!

Vegan Levantine Cuisine - Edit
That labneh, wow! It's hard to find good vegan labneh, but Cafe Pilz did a fantastic job. My other favorite dish was the Cauliflower Siniya with tahini, pine nuts, pomegranate seeds, and sumac. I want to eat this often. Their bread was amazing, too. I didn't care as much for the Harissa Fermented Vegetables. The Hot Aubergine was definitely better than that one.
Read moreReservations are definitely recommended. We got lucky, and they squeezed us into a very tiny table during a busy night. It was a plates-might-fall-off-and-shatter type of tiny table. I feel like we nearly didn't get in, and it was just luck. This is a very busy place, especially on the weekends.
