Cafe Oya

We ate a vegan Stroganoff, and it was delicious! The service was great and they even told us how they made it.
We were two vegans and two non-vegan (one who plucks out everything that looks green), and we all agreed that it was delicious.

Comida muito boa, cardápio rotativo mensal. Os pratos demoram um pouco porque são artesanais e feitos na hora, mas o serviço é bem direcionado e dedicado.

Editado em setembro de 2016: Merecem pontos extras por adaptarem pratos favoritos dos brasileiros, como coxinha com jaca verde, tortilla de batata, hambúrguer, acarajé, feijoada (com linguiça caseira de legumes), parmegiana (empanado de grão de bico com mandiopiry), galinhada (carne de caju), moqueca (carne de jaca) e brownie, entre outros.

Everything is almost all fried (there's practically only starch on the menu--which is odd for vegan food) and bland. The food takes a very long time to come out even though the dishes are pretty simple. If the food was excellent, I wouldn't be critiquing the wait time, but since it's actually pretty bland and mediocre, there's something to say about it.

We went to many vegan/vegetarian restaurants in Brasilia, and there are many that were more affordable and a lot better service/food-wise than Café Oya, including Supren Verda, Veg Gourmet, and Vegan-se.

Awesome little place, with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Delicious food - savoury and sweet (amazing chocolate brownie!) Only downside is the portions are really small, but that's a good excuse to get two dishes! Opens at 4pm.

Excelente local pra comer um acarajézinho delicioso 100% vegan! Aliás o cardápio inteiro é vegan e artesanal, o que faz com que a demora para o prato chegar seja maravilhosamente justificável. Recomendo muito a coxinha, muito boa! Além do mais, o atendimento é de qualidade, o pessoal é muito gentil e agradável.
