Nothing vegan !! - Edit
Called today 28th November 2023 after seeing reviews on here even though they not recent , was nothing at all vegan not even milk!! Bloke on next table said have a jacket potato I replied I have some at home why pay for one when they don't even have vegan marg or anything to go with it. Felt like I was back in the 1980,s so don't waste your time!

Lovely little café with something for everyone - Edit
Lovely food & friendly service. I was surprised to find a cafe which provided the perfect vegan "English" fry up! Close to the beach too bonus! Highly recommended & will most definitely be back!

Surprising find! - Edit
Cafe One is a local cafe at the end of a row of terraced houses in a very industrial area. From the outside, it’s the last place you would expect to find a range of vegan options. A good range too - see photo for menu Jan 2022. Staff really knew all about requirements too - to the extent they told me I couldn’t have a roll because they had milk in, but the sliced bread was dairy free.
Read moreI had a vacon sandwich, with chips, and a big home made flapjack, which was lovely. The other half had a Linda Mc fish cake. They even had vegan mayo and salad cream!
There is a separate frier for the vegan stuff and they take gluten free seriously too - they even have a separate toaster.
Impressive effort and knowledge. A lot of larger, more expensive places could learn a lot from the staff at Cafe One. So friendly too.
Parking is on a residential street right outside. There’s not many vegan options round here so this was a very welcome find.

To find a place that serves a vegan menu locally is amazing. The service is friendly and welcoming. The disappointment is I can only give four stars ?

What a great find this is! Great range of tasty vegan options and the staff are knowledgable, friendly and more than happy to consider other options etc. Will definitely be back!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff who are really accommodating. Lots of tasty vegan options including full english breakfasts, paninis, jacket potatoes, curry, chilli, flapjack etc. Vegan milks, cheese and spreads available too. Will definitely be back!

Several vegan options available, breakfast on menu & separate vegan menu. Staff very friendly and offered other alternatives including paninis, jacket potato, curry, dairy free cheese, pesto, salad cream, soya milk etc. Advised could cook burger in separate griddle pan, reasonably priced, parking available and near to, will return.

I eat here regular as a vegan they offer fantastic full English breakfasts, pesto n Soya strip panini,Ham and cheese panini, curries, cake, flapjacks, cheese burgers, fish less fingers you name it... Also provides Soya milks, marg and condiments.. Happy friendly staff
