veggi lunch during Workshop - Edit
during our Workshop where two of the founders of the new hamburg initiative showed us the history of the veddel Initiative and their daily work we had a yummy risotto which was vegan (i skipped the Tzatziki). the former church hall is cozy and newly decorated. you can sit outside in their garden if the weather is fine. located only 8 minutes train ride from main Station on the island veddel and about 5 minutes walk from the Station this is a local gem where a lot of social help for locals is offered by very talented and engaged people. please give some more money if you can spare it.
Read morePros: ask for vegan options, outdoor seating in garden, non profit cafe with social engagement
Cons: i think the toilets aren't wheel chair accessiblle
