Spacious and pretty cafe with tasty food and drinks, English menu, free WiFi and toilets. Staff are super friendly and speak excellent English too. Good choice of milks.

Very nice casual spot to have a lunch. The vegan/vegetarian options are spot on and fill you up nicely. The staff speak sufficient English that they understand what you order. I had the Walking in the forest plate, which consisted of a nice piece of sourdough slice of bread with sundries tomato and some roasted veggies. It was a great lunch!

Very pretty place and great staff. Even if the vegan option was delicious there is only one, would be nice to have more. For hot drinks only coffees are available for vegans because the chocolate powder already has milk in it and the chai had honey.

It was really unexpected to find such a great brunch option in Gyeongju. The food was delicious and fresh, it was a nice change of pace to eat something green.
Read moreBoth the taste and presentation of my brunch “a walk in the forest” were impecable. I might return before I leave Gyeongju.
There were a few vegan options and the staffs speaks english (and very nice!) so It was easy to ask questions about the food and coffee.

Lots of vegan and veggie options on the menu. The food was great, reasonably priced and ideal for a brunch / lunch around Gyeongju. Great option for otherwise limited choice in the area.

... and had the 'walking in the forest" and the 'balance'. Both without the mushrooms because I just don't like mushrooms 😄 With the "walking in the forest" I asked if it's possible to replace the mushrooms with tomatoes and it was no problem. Both dishes were really delicious. I also had Chai Latte with oatmilk. It was made with loose herbs in it and it was also really good.
Read moreThe restaurant is located in a smaller backyard/back alley so you can't see it right away when walking the main street. But I'd really recommend the little search because I guess it will be hard to find something similar in Gyeongju or maybe even in South Korea. Unfortunately this country is all about meat, fish and other animal products

Without doubt the best vegan food I’ve had in Korea - Edit
The ‘walking in the forest’ brunch is delicious, every ingredient tasted fresh and well seasoned. It’s largely western style, had a bit of a Californian energy to it. The staff are great and we’re able to swap the chips/crisps for hash browns. Do not miss if you are in Gyeongju, off a side street but easy enough to find as it’s a bright white building with large black lettering.
