Vegetarian/vegan cafe and bistro. Serves one daily lunch course, a daily soup, toasts, breakfasts and cakes. It offers regular hot drinks (different teas and coffees) with soy or oat milk, smoothies and cold drinks. Inside and outside seating, in the center of the town. Same location as the previous Vegangela Cafe, but this cafe also serves vegetarian food. Open Mon-Tue 9:30am-6:00pm, Wed 8:00am-6:00pm, Thu-Fri 9:30am-6:00pm, Sat 9:00am-3:00pm.

Your top (i. e. only) vegetarian/vegan spot in Murnau - Edit
Cafe Miteinander ("Together") opened earlier this year in Murnau, just off the main tourist/shopping street. We had a full lunch there, which consisted of a thai-inspired potato and cauliflower dish, and a cake afterwards. The owner was very friendly, the place is a nice spot also to sit outside. The food had a home-made appearance, and the "Thai-inspired" was somewhat difficult to detect - basically, it was just potatoes with cauliflower and a fairly nondescript white sauce which might have had hints of coconut and ginger. The cakes were also fine, but again, this is not fine dining. In particular when it comes to the main dish, the flavours were extremely mild - maybe appropriate for a town that does not exactly draw the most adventurous of tourists. For what it offers, it is on the expensive side. Anyway, it is the only vegetarian/vegan place within 20 kms, so go if you are there.
