Cafe Mar

Lo encontramos de casualidad, y dimos gracias al cielo. Cocina buena, y deliciosa y con opciones ve ganas en un pequeño pueblo de Ecuador. Tanto el dueño como los que trabajan en la cocina nos trataron genial. Nos gustó tanto que tomamos ahí el almuerzo y la cena, probamos el ceviche vegetal, la hamburguesa y las empanadas de queso y verduras. Todo estupendo y a buen precio. Recomendado totalmente :)

Not only did the restaurant advertise vegan options outside, but the food was amazing! First time I had brown rice in Ecuador - yum! The vegan ceviche was delicious, and the owner was super nice and accommodating. If you are in Puerto Lopez, I highly recommend!

Cafe Mar is a hippy cafe on the Malecón. We ordered the vegan chocolate pancakes which were yummy ($4) but there is also vegetarian ceviche, different stirfries, and a vegan burger ($5).

I had the brown rice with vegetables in passion fruit salsa, really delicious, 5$. The vegetarian empanada is filled with broccoli, zucchini, onions, cauliflower, pepper, 2$. They also have fresh juices, pineapple, lemon, passion fruit. Breakfast is available too.
