Mediocre - Edit
We had the Lunch/Dinner menu. It was mediocre but the price was not cheap. The milkshakes were ok but more flavored milk than a real icy milkshake
Pros: Veggie options
Cons: Expensive for low quality

Not great for vegans - Edit
I would only recommend it to vegetarians with meat eating friends that wouldn't consider eating in an "only veg" restaurant. If you are vegan, you'll have to veganize your menu choices, and do make sure they don't come with unexpected extras! I picked 2 vegetarian courses from the menu: tagliatelli with mushrooms and caramelised onion, and roasted eggplant with mushrooms. They would seem vegan by looking at the menu, but surprisingly both came covered in melted cheese.

Cafe Mandala - Didn't Help Our Pallor - Edit
Really puzzled by the great reviews of this place. True - there is a good selection of veggie options. But we found everything we chose to be pretty terrible - nothing tasted great at all and we didn't finish the lukewarm dishes. By far one of the less good veggie places we've been to in Spain in the past few years.
We had a table in the back section of the restaurant. Harshly lit, with tired decor. All rather depressingly accompanied by having to listen to hits from the 90's videos on the TV channel they'd chosen as entertainment.
Suggest best avoided.
Pros: Friendly service
Cons: Poor quality food, Poor atmosphere

Pros: Excelentes tartas y menús vegetarianos baratos.
Cons: Pocas o ninguna opción vegana.

Good place for vegetarians - Edit
They have a set meal option for 10 Euro incl. taxes..Vegetarians have a lot of options to chose from the primary course and secondary course. They serve complimentary bread, wine / beer and dessert too. The ambience is great and the food is very tasty..located very close to Cathedral and University
Pros: Nice ambience, Good selection of items, Value for money

I'd give 5 cows if this would be allowed for a non-veg restaurant - Edit
When I was there, about half of the menu was vegetarian. And what I had was delicious and very well presented. The staff was very friendly and attentive even though they had to run to keep everybody happy.
Pros: Delicious And Well Presented , Very Reasonable Price, Friendly Staff And Great Location

Best vegetarian restaurant in Salamanca - Edit
We ate at Cafe Mandala twice during our three days in Salamanca, and enjoyed the food and the ambiance, though it did get a bit noisy on the Saturday evening! We were eating dinner, but the large group of Spanish students were just starting their evening. The staff were very helpful and we were delighted to find that Cafe Mandala is open from 8:00 am to midnight and serves food (not just tapas) throughout the day.The 12-euro set menu had at least one vegan option for each course, plus a beverage (including wine). A very good value. The central location was very convenient.
Pros: excellent food, friendly staff, great location

Nice place in the heart of Salamanca - Edit
I used to go there a lot while studying in Salamanca! It's a very nice and cool place to hang out! They have amazing juices and milkshakes (at the time,at least, all were with dairy)! A menu is also available with good "combination dishes" which means, a little portion of different food, veggies, cereals, etc and it was very good to taste! But it is a mixed restaurant which serves meat as well so have that in mind if you're shearching for a strict vegetarian/vegan. Prices are reasonable!
The decoration is warm and welcoming and it was always full of people! Great environment! At that time, in Salamanca, there were not many veggie options so Mandala was always a place we'd go! It's near all the libraries and right in the centre so we always had an excuse to stop there!!
Pros: Veggie options, Location, Nicely decorated
Cons: No vegan milkshakes
