Vegan Smørrebrød and friendly staff - Edit
The menu didn't show vegan options (if I remember correctly). I went in cause they offered Oat milk (charge for it!) and asked for vegan options before being seated.
Read moreThey offered me a vegan option of Smørrebrød and the Burger. It was described in detail to me which ingredient they'd leave out and (and that's special I think) they mentioned to replace it with more of e.g. the grilled veg < 3
Got the Smørrebrød and a great tea with it (guess it was the only one not flavoured - which I personally don't like).
Both were delicious and the Smørrebrød looked fantastic.
Plus they offer vegan cake as well (not labelled though, cause maybe some people wouldn't buy it then - it seems to be that kind of clientele in Boltenhagen in September. Maybe I'm wrong).
That day they had three vegan "Murmeln" (like small balls). Got one "to go" and it was delicious.
Very friendly and quick staff. Still time for a little chat.
The owner, from Finland, served as well that day.
A cosy Nordic atmosphere inside, especially after the wind was battling you on the beach before :)
Very nice seating outside as well.
Other guests mentioned it's a very busy place during the season, which is to me showing the great service they offer.
Would go there again today but they're currently closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Es gibt sehr wenige vegetarische Optionen, als vegan sind einzig „Murmeln“ ausgeschrieben. Das sind ähnlich zu Bliss Balls kleine Kugeln aus Haferflocken, aber ohne Datteln.

Die Preise sind sehr happig für mittelmäßigen Geschmack, weil man unmittelbar an der Promenade ist. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön und das Personal unglaublich freundlich.

Nice Café - Edit
This is a really nice and cozy coffee place. They offer vegan milk and we also had some Balls and banana bread. The staff is also really friendly. You should definitely visit this place

Das Café ist super gemütlich eingerichtet. Ich hatte 2 „Balls“ in den Geschmacksrichtungen Krokant und Nuss. Beides war super lecker. Extrem schade finde ich, dass der Aufpreis für Hafermilch bei 1,00€ liegt.

Super schön, lecker & direkt am Deich - Edit
Wir hatten Glück und haben ohne langes Warten einen Strandkorb-Tisch bekommen. Die Kellnerin en waren total sympathisch und ihnen tat es leid, dass der vegane Kuchen schon ausverkauft und sie statt Sojamilch nurnoch Hafermilch hatten. Kaffee war sehr lecker und die veganen Schokomurmeln auch (wir hatten Espresso-Schoko-Krokant und Schoko-Quinoa) - richtig geil schokoladig! Stellt euch auf eine lange Schlange ein, wir hatten einfach Glück.

Freundlich und lecker - Edit
Wir mussten etwas anstehen und draußen sitzen, ohne Decke. Dafür wurden wir mit einer leckeren Suppe und Tee gewärmt. Der Kuchen sah sehr gut aus, auch wenn wir keinen gegessen haben. Sehr nette Inneneinrichtung und sauber.

Swedish style cafè at the sea - Edit
The cafe is very sweet (Swedish style) and offers at least soy milk which is very rare in this area. They also started to make vegan sweets. They are labeled as vegan. The chocolate ball was delicious. Additionally there were other vegan balls offered. It’s not much, but has great potential.
