Cozy cafe - Edit
We dropped in for just a drink and a little snack. The cafe is cozy and the staff is very friendly. We had chilli hot choclate drink and scones. Very nice and next time we will try something for lunch.

We were here for lunch on a weekday. The place was really full, and we just managed to get a table.
Read moreWe had two housemade sodas (4€ each), the quiche with side salad (11€) with small fries on the side (3,50€) and the chickpea panisse (15,50€).
The food was nice, a light lunch. The quiche was more like a a pastry though (I suspect made with chickpea flour) and rather dense for a quiche. Very nice fries.
The lemonades were disappointing. The glass was practically full with ice cubes, so we barely had anythink to actually 'drink'.
At first, It was really damp inside, not enjoyable (and loud). The atmosphere got better as people left and it wasn't as crowded anymore, and they opened the front door.
Friendly service. Small place. Entrance is made accessible with a small ramp. Didn't see an accessible toilet.

Except the vibe and nice stuff, the food doesn’t have New Zealand orientation, but moreover the food was bad and not fresh and we got out with nausea, feeling a bit sick, we are not recommend coming here.

Das Personal ist so herzlich, aufmerksam und liebevoll. Ich hatte die Croissants deluxe und der Name ist Programm. Einmal mit Käse, Tomaten und Pesto (einfach göttlich) und mit Banane, Karamell und Rauchmandeln. Ich komme wieder!😊

Café Lief is aptly named. The front of house is warm and homey and the staff, especially the lady running the front of house, is incredibly warm and welcoming. The food is really nice and healthy. Their specialty coffee is Rumbaba and they know how to make a wonderful cup.

I had a piece of quiche with a green salad, which matched really well, followed by a piece of carrot cake and a cup of rooibos tea. I enjoyed everything. The highlight was that I got a glass of tap water when I arrived, without asking. I like!

Looooved the kimchi pancakes, such a great tasty dish. I would come back just for that. Coffee very good too, staff super friendly. The haoura (daily special) was disappointing; quite bland tasting couscous with salad/veggies. I will come back though to try the rest of their menu

Had a delightful time at this charming cafe. Tried the Bapao with tofu ‘chicken’ ball, while my friend opted for the potato waffle – I have to say, her choice was spot-on! Personally found the tofu ball a bit too salty, and more red cabbage would've been perfect. Requested extra pickles to balance the greens, but despite that, it wasn't too shabby. The place itself is adorable, and we wrapped up our meal with some delicious sweets, especially the cheesecake which was a winner!

Really interesting dishes with a very homey atmosphere. The sitting area in the front is cute and cozy. Price for the food is really good for what you get. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great brunch spot.
Read moreI got the potato waffle with oyster mushrooms and my husband got the shakshouka. Both dishes were delicious, with creative use of ingredients, but if I had to choose between the two I would go for the potato waffle (but that’s just because i’m not huge on bell peppers). I was planning on trying a cheesecake slice or tiramisu after, but the entrees were so filling I couldn’t eat anything else.
Coffee was also very good.

De naam lief is passend: bij lief leaf zijn ze aardig en alles is vegan.

We came during the day but when the topic of New Zealand wines came up (I told her that I frequently would buy New Zealand wines even if they did not say they were organic because of the clean farming there) she mentioned that they have a large selection.
We would love to go back to sample!
