After wandering around looking at hopefully at bad menus when we were in town for the day, spotting this place was a joy.

I had the Lexebb bowl in which the friend potato turned out to be hash browns but this worked with the dish.
Such a lovely quaint place, great service and a real oasis of calm.

It was extremely hot while I was here, so I was very grateful for the outdoor seating in their shady courtyard! There were a few vegan cake options as well as more choices on the menu. Really tasty!

Nice café in backstreets of Szentendre - Edit
Café Lex is a great little place for lunch if you're visiting Szentendre. They offer a range of vegan items including bagels, salad bowls, chilli sin carne and soup. There are also plenty of vegan cakes to choose from. Everything we tried was very good. Staff are friendly too and speak good English.

Lovely little café, with many delicious vegan desserts on offer and several plant milk options. The staff were so friendly, spoke very good English but also assisted us with our attempts to speak very basic Hungarian. All in all, a fun and memorable experience for us and the café lived up to all the previous reviews.

Nice vegan place with plantbased milk options, delicious vegan cakes and vegan brunch options. They offer vegan soup on Wednesdays, we had a Moroccan chickpea soup and it was amazing.

It is a nice find in a cold winter morning, when everything is closed still, this warm cosy place is open. We were happy with my small dog to warm up and have a caffe cake.

Vegan and Sugar Free Options - Edit
Located a couple of hundred of feet from town center, Lex Cafe is a find in the small tourist town of Szentendre. They make most of their vegan desserts sugar free. We ordered the tiramisu and the sponge cake. Both were delicious. The sponge cake is not like traditional light sponge cakes, but more dense. Tasty nonetheless. Coffee was excellent.
