70 Ibn Gavirol Street, Tel Aviv, Israel

Serves meat, vegan options available. In early-2016 the entire chain of Landwer cafes added even more vegan items to its menu. Options include breakfast, sandwiches, main dishes, and more. This branch is open 24/7. Casual atmosphere. This branch is wheelchair accessible only to the outdoor seating area. Call for hours - tell us.

Vegan sandwich - so good - Edit

I stopped in with a non-veg friend of mine just as a matter of convenience while we were kicking around Dizengoff. I wasn't familiar with the place but it worked out great.

There are some veggie & vegan options clearly marked on the menu, but the "red lentil omelette sandwich" jumped right out at me. It is so good - probably the best sandwich I've had at a restaurant since I moved to Israel. It's vegan - "omelette" is just how they describe what amounts to a sort of lentil, carrot, and herb crepe. Must eat to believe.

Pros: Vegan sandwich TDF, Friendly service, location

Cons: Only Goldstar on tap, yech

Nice Cafe - Open 24/7 - Edit

The Cafe Landwer chain is well-known in Israel and there are branches all over the country, including a couple of other locations in Tel Aviv. Landwer recently added a vegan section to their menu which includes a generous vegan breakfast, served any time. If you're out and about during the wee hours, you can always come to Cafe Landwer, which is open 24/7. The number of vegan items is small but excellent. The breakfast is large and includes a chickpea-lentil flour "omelet" - one of the best in town, as well as spreads, breads and rolls, salad, coffee (with soymilk - but remind them), juice and a vegan yogurt dessert. The "majadrah" lentil dish is delicious and has beets and pistachios. The one vegan dessert, coconut ice cream with halva, is a great treat. There are also many vegetarian items on the menu as well.
