More than just food - Edit
If you are a foodie looking for new tastes and combinations of exotic ingredients, you will probably be disappointed. But if you are looking for good, cheap food and enjoy supporting good causes that go further than animal rights - go there. (And the people who organize this space are very friendly, even if you are a stranger, like me! :))
Pros: cheap food, great atmosphere, supporting the fight against all exploitation
Cons: dont think there are any

Sweet Jane - Edit
Astonishing place in a residential setting. Very retro and cool with a logo that looks a bit like Lou Reed. I only popped in for a cup of coffee but felt truly at home here. This is somewhere you could relax without feeling intimidated. Not that easy to find as you have to go through a metal gate which can appear locked if you don't have the bottle to open it, like me. Fortunately a friendly elderly lady confirmed it was OK to go through. I didn't have any food but there's always next time.
Pros: cool interior, friendly, retro atmosphere

Worth a visit - Edit
Not really a milk bar, when I went there there was only one type of soup and cake to choose from. BUT they were the best pumpkin soup and apple cake I've ever had in a kind and inspiring environment. Prepare for cold in the winter time, there is no heating!

love it - Edit
This place is exceptional. It is more than just a restaurant. With all these amazing books, great food, squaty and alternative vibe, central location, anarchist/left-wing/queer/feminist touch and claret sofa it feels like home. They host great events as well.I have been there with my friends a couple of times and I love it to pieces but I'm not sure if it's for everybody. If I would have to describe it: coffeshop meets bookshop and anarchist space. The basic price is very good, you can donate more for their actions if you want and with 10 pln you can afford a lot of food there. I recommend going there between 2 pm and 5 pm if you'd like to have a big menu choice. You can play board games or the piano :)
