English speaking staff

This cute little cafe has lots of vegetarian desserts and sometimes makes vegan scones (cranberry and green tea flavours). They also sometimes have soy milk. The owner is super friendly and has been to Busan to learn how to do some vegan baking. She says that not many people like the scones, because they are not very sweet - but I liked them, particularly the green tea flavour.

You can ask ahead to see if they have anything vegan, by messaging on Instagram. I'm sure the more demand they have, the more they will make them. Plus, I reckon they will be open to making more vegan products, if they are shown how! Vegan baking seems to be on the rise in Korea, with healthy eating in mind. I know there are now a number of cafes and bakeries that are learning how to bake vegan.

Some of the staff also speak very good English!

Pros: Some staff are excellent English speakers, Sometimes have soy milk

Cons: Don't always have vegan options
