Not many options but accommodating

I was visiting a friend and she’d booked cafe kisa. Options - They have plant based breakfast. I don’t know if any good as I was there in afternoon. Other options are Baked potato with vegan cheese. Beyond meat burger. Their soup option wasn’t vegan. I asked if they could check if their vegetarian meatballs on the New Yorker panini were vegan. They checked & they were. I asked if I could get them added to their tomato & basil pasta dish for something more interesting and might fill me up. So in theory their New Yorker panini could be adapted with vegan cheese also. Chips are cooked in same place as everything else. Limited options in Auchterarder so made the best of it. Took my own nooch lol!

Pros: Staff helpful and accommodating , Adapted a dish , Nice setting

Cons: No proper starters or desserts available , Beyond meat, tomato pasta or Panini is not a treat

You can eat

In a town with almost no vegan options Cafe Kisa is making sure you can go somewhere with friends and family and have marked vegan food on the menu.

There are just two 'plant based available' options (rather than just being marked as plant-based); a vegan cheese sandwich, and a Beyond Meat burger patty. You can add extras to your food like onions for a cost.

I've always ordered the sandwich and it literally is just cheese and bread with no dressings available and it's fine. I wouldn't rush out to eat it but when you're with non-vegans out for lunch it's an option.

Chips are animal product free themselves but cooked in the same oil as other animal products.

Even if they had a vegan soup and/or cake available it would had so much variety!

Pros: Has vegan cheese, Staff seem aware of things that could be a problem, Friendly

Cons: Extremely limited choice
