Serves meat, vegan options available. Small cafe run by a husband and wife team. The menu lists 6 or so vegetarian dishes and one vegan one which is a sweet potato and corn fritters. Two of the smoothies are vegan. They understand veganism and are willing to modify dishes to make suit. Open Mon-Fri 6:00am-3:00pm, Sat-Sun 7:00am-2:30pm.

Ok so this cafe no longer has any vegan options, and when asked, they offered avo or mushrooms on toast. We didn't stay.

The lady is super accommodating and friendly regarding food preferences, came over mid meal to talk about what they have (vegan sliced meats I believe)
Good location, parking on street or parking lot behind the cafe.
Would come back!

Let them know you are vegan and they will make you something delish! We had garlic mushrooms with some amazing potatoes, crispy kale, and yummy sauce! The chef even came out to check we were happy. Love this local!

Cute cafe - Edit
TL;DR: Super friendly owners who are more than willing to provide vegan options. Ask Cindy about her vegan dumplings!
Read moreThis place is a family business run by husband and wife team, Ivan and Cindy. They have been running the cafe for 17 years and was located in the Mt Gravatt Plaza up until they relocated to this location just under a year ago. It’s a nice simple space that gave me similar vibes to some of the cafes I visited in Japan.
I was lured in by the specials board which listed house-made vegan fritters, but was disappointed to discover that they weren’t able to make them as they were waiting a delivery for some of the ingredients.
I perused the rest of the menu and was delighted to see that almost half of the menu was vegetarian, but sadly only the fritters were Vegan. I asked Ivan if I could order the “Mushroom Brekkie” without halloumi and swap the egg for a vegan egg (which was an optional extra with the fritters). Ivan kindly obliged. 10-15 minutes later Cindy appeared from the kitchen with a beautifully presented meal and explained, that because I am vegan she, “cooked it the vegan way”.
The meal was delicious and Cindy returned with a special sweet chilli sauce for the vegan eggs which was great. She later explained that she makes seperate sauces for vegan dishes and told me to order her vegan dumplings (not on the menu) next time.

The food was nice.
Read moreMy husband enjoyed his meat included meal but unfortunately no vegan options on the menu at the moment.
I enquired and was offered avocado on toast or mushroom on toast which was yummy but was hoping for more options based on previous review. The owner Cindy came out for a chat and was apologetic because they usually have more options and very happy to make sure option are available.
Pros: Friendly service, Happy to accomodate vegan
Cons: Doesn’t always have vegan option
