Vegan snickerscake & tea to go

Long line but very nice that they had to go mugs cause they had no seats left and it was a sunny day. The snickers cake was super good! And they had also a cookie and a chocolate thingy and a raw date ball.. it was a bit stressful because it’s probably popular. Could wish for more vegan stuff though.

Pros: They had vegan options , The snickers cake was good, They had to go mugs for tea!

Cons: Stressful aura, Long line, Could be more vegan options.

Fantastic! I was super excited to try this and they didn’t disappoint me! Cinnamon roll is well balanced, not too sweet and the quantity of the cinnamon is perfect. Dough was soft and it lasted also in the following days! Highly recommend.
Maybe the only downside is the price: 14€

Huge Hagabulle

The Hagabulle (a very big version of the Kanelbulle (cinnamon roll)) has become a must-try in Göteborg. It is huge and very very filling. It can be quite dry though and the price is also quite high (120 SEK)

yummy vegan kanelbullar!

really good kanelbullar (hagabullar as they are a specialty of the neighborhood and bigger than the original ones) and one of the only places in sweden were we found vegan ones!
there are some other vegan treats (see pictures) but i feel the real good deal are the hagabullar!
the iced coffee latte with oat milk was good!

the place can be real crowded tho and you can wait a long time

the interior is nice!

Kanelbullar to die for

The Café offers giant kanelbullar. They tasted absolutely amazing. They also had other clearly labeled vegan cakes and pastries. They serve oat milk for coffee and offer free water.
If you like cinnamon definitely go for the fantastic kanelbullar.

Pros: Clearly labeled vegan items, Clearly labeled allergens

Signature item is vegan

Not too many vegan options when I visited, but the hagabullar luckily is, and it's their signature item. It's possible to order just a quarter instead of a whole one, which I recommend if you're on your own and don't want leftovers. The hagabullar tasted good, but I wasn't really blown away.

Delicious and quaint

So nice to be able to enjoy the local tradition of Fika with Vegan options! Only downside there was no decaf coffee, but the herbal teas were fresh and tasty! Such a quaint cafe with history. #Veganuary

Pros: Atmosphere, Piece of history and culture , Vegan cake

Cons: No decaf coffee , Cramped tables

Big cinnamon buns and great chai!

Super cosy cafe with lots of baked goods. The vegan options are clearly marked and they were some good options😄I went for the famous hagabullen and it was tasty. Needless so say it’s a lot for one person but it’s great for take away what’s left!

An experience for sure

Cool and cosy café, famous for their huge cinnamon buns. Except the buns, a few other pastries and sandwiches are vegan. Those are clearly marked.
The atmosphere is nice and the interior design, but it's a bit expensive.

Pros: The cinnamon buns, Cool, boho atmosphere , Spacious

Cons: A bit expensive , Staff weren't very friendly

Huge cinnamon buns

They sell the biggest cinnamon buns in town, you can get the whole bun (in my opinion big enough for 3 ppl) or order by quarter. They have some other vegan sweets as well and some savory options if you want to gor for lunch.
Of course it's pretty busy being in the famous Haga district, but still worth a try as the ambiance and the food are pretty nice.

Huge Cinnamon buns and huge queues

The cinnamon buns are impressive and great.
Unfortunately also many other people have heard about this, so one has to wait a while in a queue to get some food.

Pros: Great food , Great district of the city

Cons: Long queues

Largest cinnamon bun in town

If you are REALLY graving for cinnamon bunsz this is the place in town. Their grant buns are fluffy and good tasting, keeping their taste for a few days after as well. Their vegan sandwhich and other cakes are good to.
It's a popular place, so it can be full!

Pros: Grant cinnamon bun

Cons: Can be full, Not especially cheap

Riesige Zimtschnecke

Es gibt einige vegane Optionen sowie Haferdrink. Wir hatten zwei heiße Schokoladen mit Haferdrink, eine riesige Zimtschnecke und einen Lebkuchen Muffin. Sehr zu empfehlen 😍

Giant cinnamon bun

The cinnamon bun was huge and quite tasty. There was lots of sugar and cardamom on the outside and a good sticky cinnamon filling. It got a bit samey after a while and I feel like smaller ones generally have a better texture and finish. It was good to see someone doing the huge vegan version. The coffee wasn't great and the toilet lock was operated using a code on your receipt that I could not get to work. Very popular and busy during the day, I went not long after opening and it was easy to get a table.

Pros: Vegan version of a local classic

Cons: Not good coffee
