A vegetarian bubble tea cafe with medium to small dishes. Any "meat" dish is soy meat. Does use eggs and cheese. Soy beef noodle, mapo tofu, soy chicken broccoli, steamed edamame and more. Many of the boba drinks are vegan by default. Open Mon-Sun 12:00pm-12:00am.

My favorite vegan food

I’ve been a cafe happy customer for more than a decade. They used be located in downtown Kirkland for a long time, but they unfortunately closed that location due to Covid. I’m very glad they have the UW location now. They make the best vegan food ever, the sauces are just delicious, they use fresh veggies, and the soy meat is really yummy. I am always on the hunt for vegan asian food and cafe happy has been my absolute favorite for literally more than ten years. The owners name is Jay and he is so kind, he works super hard to keep the store running and has kept the same recipes that his family had in the original restaurant too. I really hope you try their food, I always order #27 and the mapo tofu. Best place ever!!
