Fresh and flavorful dishes with lots of vegetables - Edit
This is the place you want to go for healthy yet delicious veggie-focused dishes. There is so much flavor and depth in everything on the menu. The interior of the cafe is cozy, welcoming and the staff were so friendly and helpful even though we didn't know much French. Highly recommend if you want simple and refreshing vegan food that is relatively inexpensive.

Vegetable perfection - Edit
When someone tells you they hate vegetables, take them to Cafe Ginger, watch them change their mind. The food here is magical, it is no wonder why the place is always packed. The dishes are full of delicious fresh veggies and grains, perfectly spiced. I love this restaurant so much!

I took my non-vegan to lunch at Cafe ginger and she absolutely loved it! Their plate of the day features a variety of tasty and freshly made salads to which a tart, spring roll or moussaka could be added. The place was packed and we were lucky to get a table. It is a great testimony to how good the food is! Good value for money, would most definitely recommend.

We had the lasagna and the quiche, both were incredibly good! The place was packed so we went for take away and ate on the canal nearby which was great, I recommend that if the weather is nice :) there's also a park nearby if you prefer.

Nice small cafe that serves salad plates of the day with additional extras like hot pots and lasagne, with the option to add soup or desert for €5. It was a little pricey but that's Paris. Service was excellent.

---
Tiny vegan restaurant/café (reservation recommended) I tried today for the first time: the meals are colorful, generous and very tasty.
Get a large veggies+legumes+cereal based plate for €10, add a warm serving (lasagna, tart or other) €4.5, and/or dessert for an addition €5.
Juice, Soup, extras... also available.
Sweetly decorated and when the weather is warm enough (unlike today's freezing sun!) you can also eat outside.
Service is kind and efficient.
Pros: tasty, healthy, service is pleasant
Cons: maybe a tiny bit expensive

One of My Favorites in Town - Edit
I've been to Ginger countless times in the last couple of years.
Read moreThe menu is basically just one plate which consists of a very colorful salad with vegetables/grains/etc; and a choice between a tart/lasagna/sometimes other dish. They also offer soups, juices and desserts such as carrot cake, a chocolate terrine, and a "trio du jour" (a mix of mousse, cream and crust).
The food is fresh and delicious, so I really enjoy it each time I go. The service is always great.
Ginger is quite small; and it can get packed very fast, so I'd recommend booking in advance.
Pros: tasty food, friendly staff, good value
Cons: none

Tourists - Edit
Operates a set menu, with either a 'Ginger bowl' (a bowl of various grains and vegetables) on its own, or the bowl is available with one of the plat du jour. There were three options; lasagne, parmigiana or a pie. Two of us has the lasagne which was delicious, and one opted for a lovely pie. The 'Ginger bowl' that came with it was a delicious selection of fresh vegetables, all flavoured subtly. It was a satisfying plate of food, the staff were lovely and desserts were delish too! The café is very small but the service and food are great - lovely spot for lunch when out and about in Paris.

Creative Vegan - Edit
Ginger is adjacent to the Bastille subway stop, easy to find. The vegan food is excellent but they only offer a prix-fixe menu of three or so entree choices every night, plus appetizers and deserts. The portions are generous and creatively arranged. They say they are open until 10:30pm but if you arrive after 9:30 there may be little left. Best to get a reservation.
