Nice food, good for after the markets - Edit
Cute little spot for some lunch after exploring the Rastro markets. The food was delicious and reasonably priced (around €5-€7) mainly sandwiches and burgers - not everything is vegan but most items are. Service was quick and friendly too.
Pros: English menu

Petit resto végé sympa - Nice small veggie restaurant - Edit
Abordable et fait maison. Accueil sympa.

Quite good raw chocolate cake - Edit
Every time I am in the area I can't help but stopping by "a merendar" (Spanish expression used to refer to the small meal between lunch and dinner). It's an organic cafe with a lot of hot and cold beverages with veggie milk and a raw chocolate cake almost as good as mine! ;)
Pros: Good raw chocolate cake, Friendly

A small get-away - Edit
This place fits its name... it is nowhere near the sea, but when you sit inside you could well imagine that the world outside looks very different. It is a mish-mash of chairs, colourful details, mosaiques, etc.
Although not the cheapest option (for breakfast at least), the quality is good and there is a lot of choice. Located in the same area where the fleamarket is during the weekend, this makes for the perfect Sunday morning plan... that is if you find a table.
Pros: cozy, nice options, dreamy atmosphere
Cons: small , a bit pricy, sometimes closed

Nice and cozy - Edit
This place is super-nice. It's very small but colourful and welcoming. I had dinner there last Wednesday and the food is really good, plus the girl behind the counter was very kind.
It's inexpensive, and it is the kind of place where it is just nice to sit down, enjoy your food, and either have a chat or read a good book.
Also, pay a visit to the toilet... it deserves it! :--)
Pros: Nice place, Good food, Nice atmosphere
