Serves meat, vegan options available. Small cafe with one vegetarian curry, availble on its own or as part of a set menu, and is served with an accompanying salad: both are vegan. Other curries are not vegan - ask owner for assistance. Open Mon 8:00am-6:00pm, Wed-Sun 8:00am-6:00pm.

Great option near Gora station - Edit
Fast service. Owners are friendly and knowledgeable regarding veganism. The curry has a good flavor. The set includes veggies, salad and a sorbet.

Lovely spot for vegan curry - Edit
Cute little cafe run by a lovely couple, very friendly and welcoming. There is a vegan set menu available including salad, curry and rice, dessert, and a drink. Fabulous coffee. English menu and they take credit card.

Veg (vegan) curry - Edit
Basic meal and only the one option however as vegans reading this post would know, options are hard to come by in Hakone prefecture. Curry was tasty and owners/staff were lovely and accommodating. 🌱✌

Simple, fast, and delicious - Edit
Ordered when we sat down and food came very quickly. Ordered:
Read moreVegetarian set (curry, grape sorbet - not sherbet - OJ)
Vegetarian set (spaghetti in tomato sauce, peach jelly, OJ)
All tasted good. Grated hard cheese and tobasco were provided for the spaghetti.
Good to stop by after the open air museum before catching a bus!
Seems to be run by an elder couple. The gent seems to have decent English!
Pros: Nice set menu for vegetarian, Very reasonable price, Some English spoken

Life saver - Edit
Thank goodness for this place as there is not much else around. My vegan curry was tasty and the set meal was pretty good value. The owners were friendly. Went here because the sushi shop next door was closed for no reason.

Simple cafe with veg and vegan options - Edit
Small very simple place with a strange menu including naan pizzas, “hamburger soup”, “spaghetti with ketchup” and curry and rice.
Read moreThere is a vegetarian curry and rice as well as a meat option. I don’t speak japanese, but asked if it was vegetarian with no meat stock etc in english and the owner said it was. When it arrived it looked much darker than my husbands meat curry and rice so I don’t think it was from the same stock. The curry contained soy mince and some small bits of carrot and onion. It was fine, tasty enough.
The interior of the cafe is not great - not a place for lingering - but friendly owners and a couple of vegan options on the menu, so I can’t complain!
I think there were 2 vegan options - curry rice or spaghetti with tomato sauce (rather than ketchup, I assume) and also omelette for veggies if you eat eggs.
We only went here because Kappei Sushi nearby was closed at 1pm as ‘the rice had sold out’.
