We went during the week, so they only had one vegan donut (cake) available—but they will dip that vegan donut in vegan chocolate and oh yes. It was divine. Can’t wait to go on the weekend and try other options!

Best donuts ever - Edit
We have come many times. They have limited vegan options during the week. They often have cake, donuts, and filled donuts and cinnamon rolls or something of that kind, like fritters. They usually have glazed during the week and three choices on the weekend. You would never know they are vegan. They are so amazing !!!!!

My omni friends looove their vegan donuts. Get a dozen bc you’ll want to inhale them all in one sitting. Light and fluffy. Mostly yeast donuts. I haaate cake donuts but had one here a couple of times that made me rethink that option entirely. Everything here is 100/10. I know people who drive an hour to come here.

This morning I stopped by Cafe Donuts for the first time ever! It was so good! I started out just ordering a vegan cake donut, and vegan apple fritter. Then the lady taking my order asked if I have had their vegan cinnamon roll, and I told her I hadn’t and this was my first time there. I told her to go ahead and throw one in, and she told me that I’d love it, that it’d be hard to believe it was vegan, and that it would be my favorite. She was right on all accounts! I’ll definitely go back!

I am so grateful for all the gourmet vegan donuts available near me now, but sometimes I just want an old fashioned, greasy, disintegrate-in-your-mouth donut and these hit the spot! They had five vegan varieties when I went (noon on a Sunday) so naturally I ordered one of each and ate them over 24 hours. All were good, but the cake and jelly donut were my favorites. Fortunately I live too far away to make this a normal occurrence, but I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Toledo.

Eight varieties is an exaggeration, but still a worthwhile trea - Edit
I've stopped here a number of times for a vegan doughnut when I've been in the area. I've tried a glazed, a couple filled, and a fritter. They've all been good. My favorite is the fritter. However, the Happy Cow description says eight varieties daily. Although I've not been there in the early morning, I've never seen anywhere close to that. At most I've seen three different kinds at a time. I still appreciate having ANY choices though!
