Very hard to survive in this region as vegan - not enough tourists? Anyway we could have a nice vegan lunch at the only place which caters for vegans. And it's an association which is always good to support.
A really good place to take your delicious and affordable lunch. Simply furnished, with the best food an super friendly service! Go in there and you will not regret it.
Uzes is a beautiful town, but it is not the easiest place for a vegan to eat. My wife and I stumbled upon this place while trying to buy tofu at a nearby store selling organic products. The cafe seams to serve as a place where parents and children hang out, but serves food from around 12-3 pm, Wed - Sat. The menu is fixed, but can be altered to help out a vegan. Portions were excellent, and the food was tasty (our first meal was lentils, salad, potato, quiche (non vegan for my kids). The second day was Indian inspired. The bill for four adult sized placed was €36, with water as the only drink. A steal in a town where a small veggie pizza is €11. Go to support them when you are in town. Uzes is beautiful.
