Not Vegan - Edit

The menu is clearly labelled to include 2 items labelled 'vegan' and has the option of several dairy free milks. The staff were very friendly. However, I should have read the reviews before coming here as half way through eating my 'vegan' crepe I found part of an eggshell. I was disappointed to say the least

Pros: Friendly staff

Cons: misleading labelling of vegan food

Be careful, the crepes aren't vegan - Edit

There is a crepe that says vegan, but I asked and it has milk and eggs in it. And the waiter told me that the chicken didn't have to die for the egg, it seemed like a joke to me... Very disappointed...

Vegan options, but order with care - Edit

We have just been to this cafe to get some afternoon sweets. When I asked for vegan options, the waitress knew what it was and was very helpful verifying if for example the hot chocolate powder they have is vegan (which it is and it can be prepared with non-dairy milk). She said they will prepare a special vegan dough for my vegan crepe because the dough they usually use is not vegan. So I ordered a vegan crepe with peach marmelade and, as they prepared it behind the bar, could see that they did indeed prepare extra dough for me. When I got the crepe, it was covered with chocolate syrup. When I asked, they told me that, unfortunately, the syrup contains milk products. As they had prepared the dough just for me, I ate the crepe anyway (I'm that kind of vegan), asking them not to put chocolate syrup on vegan crepes anymore.
All in all, the service is good and they are very helpful when you ask for vegan options. Still, as they are not vegans themselves and obviously not very used to preparing vegan things, be very careful when you order and verify if you get an extra ingredient you didn't ask for. Therefore, I still recommend the place, but recommend you order and eat with care.

Pros: one of very few places with vegan options in Ronda, Helpful when asking for vegan options, Tasty

Cons: Make mistakes and might give you non-vegan things

Casual, two vegan entrees, non-dairy milk - Edit

Lovely casual cafe with an English menu. Two vegan entrees that I could see, vegan savory crepe and vegan sandwich on spelt bread. The fillings were the same for both, guacamole, lettuce, corn, tomato and 'nuts' (as listed on the menu). I had the vegan crepe, which was...unusual, if earnest. A large crepe with a very think layer of guac, vegetables on top, sprinkled with raisins and pumpkin seeds. In retrospect I should have tried the sandwich, though corn might have made that just as unusual. Of the crepe doughnis vegan as indicated by listed the savory as vegan, you could get a sweet crepe with powdered sugar and fruit, which would probably be more satisfying and better value for money. There appeared to be vegan tapas, a chickpea stew with chard and homemade spring rolls, but I didn't try them or ask if they were vegan. They note milkshakes can be made with non-dairy milks and I assume the same for their coffee drinks as well.

Pros: One of very few places in Ronda with vegan options, Inexpensive, Non-dairy milks

Cons: Unusual dishes, Limited options
