Best vegan option in the area - Edit
Boranup Café is situated beautifully in the Boranup Forest, and is a pit stop for many tourists on their trip along the South West coast line. The food served here is good, but not spectacular. Considering the café is located 20 minutes away from the Margaret River town centre, this café has the best options for vegans, as well as vegetarians and omnivores.
I visited a few weeks ago and had the Karri Kale green smoothies (which was delicious) and the vegan baked bowl, which was also quite nice, and cost $18. My mum had the changing daily vegan option which was fig toast with mushrooms, spinach and other seasonings, also $18
The location is spectacular, and so for that alone, it is worthwhile visiting.
There is also a small art gallery next to the café.
Pros: Best vegan option in the area, Good location
Cons: Not that many vegan options, Not all staff aware of what vegan diet is
