Large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks including freshly pressed juice and lemonade. This café is part of the club 'schon schön' right next door which is why it is open basically all night long. Open Mon 08:00-04:00, Tue 08:00-03:00, Wed 08:00-06:00, Thu 08:00-05:00, Fri 08:00-06:00, Sat 09:00-06:00, Sun 10:00-21:00.

Wir gehen gerne ins Café Blumen, im Sommer sitzt man angenehm draußen & im Winter drinnen (sofern man einen Sitzplatz ergattern kann). Es gibt verschiedene vegane (& veggie) Optionen: Kuchen, Torten, Brownies, Sandwiches. Hafermilch und Erbsenmilch für den Kaffee. Wenn’s gut besucht ist, dauert der Service leider recht lang, daher nur 4 Sterne.

It's a quirky little place, very central yet close to the Rhine. You can sit outside or in the rather small inside space. Their sandwiches are vice bit nothing special. The cakes are good!

Nettes Café mit veganen Kuchen und Tagesgericht - Edit
Heute hatte ich Lust auf Kuchen und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Neben veganem Bananenbrot gab es einen sehr leckeren, saftigen, veganen Kürbiskuchen. Außerdem stand ein veganer Eintopf auf der Tageskarte. Perfekt für die Mittagspause. Alles gibt es auch zum Mitnehmen.

Das Essen ist gut und es ist immer etwas Veganes sowohl bei Kuchen als auch den warmen Mahlzeiten dabei. Beim Tagesgericht ist auch immer was vegetarisches dabei, häufig auch vegan.

Cafe Blumen is a lovely place, nicely situated in the centre of Mainz and great to have a coffee and watch people passing by. It is part of the club schon schön and thus it is open basically all night.
Read moreThey always have some vegan cakes on offer (their banana bread is great and always there, the brownies are a tad dry). Also, they offer some salads and soups and a panini sandwich which are okay but small and a bit pricey for what they are.

Café Blumen is in a quite central location. Their interior design is very well picked and makes a really cozy atmosphere. And for the hot days they also have outdoor seating. They serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and also have vegan cake and focaccia. Worth to stop by.
