Not vegan friendly or allergy friendly - Edit
I ordered the same thing that one of the other reviewers on here ordered and specified "vegan meal". They gave me non vegan bread even though I also specified vegan bread. They put butter on top of everything (tofu scramble and fruit). I was unable to eat any of it.
Read moreWhen I asked for vegan options, I was given a vegan menu but it does not specify some of the items that are required to order (like the bread). I still don't know how you are supposed to specify vegan bread at this point. They refunded my company their money for the meal and they said they would take the feedback into consideration in order to try to make things right but I was left without breakfast at my company meeting and I still don't feel confident on how to order from there in the future. I think they would prefer vegetarians only.

Few but tasty choices - Edit
Friendly service & accommodated us when we came in close to closing time. Had a wrap with veggies & tahini. It was enough for a meal & a half, so made a later tasty snack.

Delicious but confusing - Edit
We had a delicious meal. So glad we chose this place. The food is interesting and yummy. Our wait person was lovely and helped us navigate which meals could be made vegan. But it would be so lovely and relaxing and welcoming and simple if they had a separate vegan menu. As a plant based eater, I am tired of negotiating each restaurant experience. Omni eaters just choose something off the menu. AND this place makes delicious food!!

Delicious food; confusing options - Edit
I love the food at Cafe Berlin. I’ve gotten their tofu scramble and multiple occasions. They have the ability to make many options vegan but there isn’t a clear vegan menu. Their vegan/vegetarian items are clearly marked but you have to ask how to veganize individual options.

Great spot to grab brunch - Edit
Went above my expectations! You can sub most meals for tempeh and tofu. Vegetarian sausage is not vegan however. Potatoes were REALLY delicious. I got the breakfast wrap and subbed tofu for eggs and tempeh for protein. Fiance got the tempeh Ruben which was delicious. Ask for bread to not be buttered. Murphy Lee is vegan as is. Tons of vegetarian options.

WOW! - Edit
It took about 20min to get seated, but once we were seated we immediately got drinks and our orders in. Food turnaround was extremely quick! Didn’t have to wait more than 5min for food. I got the breakfast burrito w/o cheese and subbed the tofu scramble for the eggs. Got tempeh as my protein of choice. Absolutely delicious! Will definitely return!

Vegan friendly! - Edit
Cute, busy breakfast/lunch place that has vegetarian gravy and sausage (not vegan sadly!!) but also tofu and tempeh. Menu said most can be made vegan. I got the breakfast burrito sans cheese and subbed tofu for eggs and tempeh for meat. Was yummy! Has organic and pretty sure some locally sourced stuff too. Great staff!
