Just OK - Edit
If you're a vegetarian, you should have a decent selection. When I went they had vegetarian lasagna on special. They had vegan tomato soup and soy lattes but that was about it for vegan options. The menu is in Norwegian but counter staff knew all about vegan diets and happily told me about their selections, asking if i wanted olive oil instead of butter on my bread, etc. So that was impressive.
I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but they have free wifi and a friendly atmosphere with tables inside where you can chill and relax. Located on busy, touristy shopping street.

Very limited veg options - Edit
I think it's a real stretch to have this cafe included on HappyCow. On my recent visit there was not one vegan meal option available and the vegetarian options appeared to be no more plentiful than any other restaurant in the area.
On a positive note, the staff were aware of what a 'vegan' is which is always a good start, and there did happen to be a vegan brownie in the cake display which although the size of a matchbox still was better than no lunch at all.
Cafe Aura is a nice enough spot to chill out, just don't expect to be overwhelmed with (any) choice.
Pros: Helpful staff, Vegan raw brownie
Cons: Little to no vegan choices, Sold out of several menu items

delicious meal - Edit
This appears to be a popular place with the locals. Coffees and teas of various descriptions are served. There's a small menu of main dishes, salads and desserts, plus two soups. I had the carrot one rather than the tomato one, and it was delicious and interestingly herbed. I also had a Feta Salad made up of lettuce (iceberg), carrots, tomato, cucumber, mung bean sprouts, black olives, kidney beans, salsa and a hunk of feta in the middle, with a nice herbed balsamic dressing. Soup was 65 kr, and salad was 119 kr. Both items came with fresh seedy bread.
Pros: flavourful food, fresh food, healthy soups
Cons: not inexpensive
