Excellent cause

From their website: ‘The mission is simple: serve delicious, seasonal, locally-produced and handmade-with-love food. Food that nourishes the body, feeds the soul and builds community around it. We buy local, change our menu with the season, and all of our proceeds go to support Ophelia's Place.’

If you want to support body positivity and learn more about eating disorders and what resources are out there should you or someone you know be struggling- consider making this one of your coffee spots.

They do have a few vegan menu items, and non dairy milks for cafe drinks.

Good food, good cause

Not a lot of vegetarian and vegan choices, but what I had was delicious and well-prepared with fresh, local ingredients. All gratuities go straight to support the organization, which is housed in the back. Friendly, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

Pros: delicious!

Cons: limited vegetarian and vegan options

Not great vegan selections

Visited one lunchtime. The place was busy and had a very nice atmosphere - seems a lot of locals come here regularly. I don't think there was anything vegan on the menu, though the guy taking orders indicated that things could be made vegan (leaving cheese off the hummus plate/ leaving cheese/meats off various salads etc.). I ordered the Californian burger once we'd established that was vegan, so was disappointed when it arrived with melted cheese on top and grated cheese on the little side salad...

Pros: Nice ambience, Local produce used, Some meals can be vaganized

Cons: No vegan oprions without substitutions, Vegan burger & cheese isnt vegan
