Don't touch those potatos!

I went to this place for brunch on a beautiful Saturday late morning and we were the only people seated. Bad sign for a place that has cafe in the name. Everything on the menu looked delicious but that would change once the food was delivered.

I had the Griffon which was flavourless apart from the maple syrop which was tasty. The potatos were coated in some kind of bbq hot sauce, yes the fluorescent orange kind and on top of that they were undercooked, still hard, with no crispiness. Revolting! My girlfriend had an omelette which had the same hot sause drizzeled on top!! She can't eat spicy food and there was no mention of this on the menu. I think the chef was being creative.

To make matters worse the two girls working that day were "testing" the stereo system by changing the music every 30 seconds and blasting the volume to max and then cutting it. Then they proceeded to laugh their heads off and when we looked over, they apologized but did it again a few minutes later.

What a disaster, no wonder the place was empty.

Cons: bad food, careless staff, overpriced

Great Vegan Options in Griffintown!

Amazing vegan pancakes with the nest breakfast potatoes. Have been back for breakfast three times since discovering this restaurant last week. Service is awesome and Tara, the chef/owner, is super talented! Great spot for a great vegan meal anytime of day and a good spot if you're with non-veg friends! Would easily rate it 5 stars if that was allowed for a non-veg restaurant.

Pros: Great Food, Great Service, Great Value
