Nutritious vegan food and lovely staff - Edit
With a great atmosphere and a separate vegan menu, Cafe 302 was definitely not a disappointment. I'd had the hearty Portobello and Black bean burger with red cabbage slaw and pickled onions with a side of sweet potato fries. Definitely would love to visit again!
Read moreUpdate: Revisited this cafe after 3 years for breakfast but unfortunately their rice pancakes were a bit of a disappointment. They tasted like a savory pancake that was served with maple and berries. Also, according to my dining companions, their coffee wasn't great either. Regardless, their vegan options are plenty and perhaps some dishes are better than others.

Cafe 302 was our go-to place to eat in Abu Dhabi. My fiancé and I went there to eat everyday and had both breakfasts and lunches, we were never disappointed. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks, literally appreciated every bite I took, and am upset that my trip is nearly over and we won't be able to eat there anymore.
Read moreI had the chilled caramel coffee with coconut milk every time we went (too good to be true), and would recommend the rice pancakes for a sweet tooth, and the beyond meat pizza for a really cheesy meal!

Say what you want about Rotana Hotels, but when it comes to F&B concepts, they're regularly churning out winners. Café 302 is one of those. It's a pleasant, welcoming, space and the menu is probably the most vegan-friendly I've ever seen in a hotel.
Read moreI could have ordered lots of things, but in the end I settled for a red lentil & cauliflower burger and it was yummy. Good portion size, enough fries, and an ample supply of ketchup. There's no doubt that I'll dine here again - so many other vegan dishes still waiting to be tasted!

Cafe 302 was a great surprise! The pancakes where very light and soft, the tumeric latte was so creamy! The place is very nice and they have many vegan option not only in à la carte menu, but also in the breakfast buffet.

I enjoy going to Café 302. I am always greeted as if I’m a neighbour who lives next door and I have yet to have a bad meal. One of my favourites is the lentil penne bolognese; I actually preferred this to the vegan spaghetti with meatballs, which I believe were made with beyond meat mince. The burgers are also good. Another favourite was the vegan sunshine breakfast special which, unfortunately isn’t available at the moment, but all items can be ordered separately. Also, there is a great vegan buffet on Thursday and Friday evenings. The creative efforts of the chefs are to be appreciated as they seem to be continually experimenting to offer clients great food. Oh! And how could I forget dessert … I recently had a chocolate, caramel, peanut treat that took me back to my childhood days of the Oh Henry chocolate bar! Delicious! #Veganuary

Like other reviewers have said, this café deserves 5 stars for its great vegan options, full menu, attentive staff and good atmosphere. The desserts deserve a special mention, in particular the coconut milk rice. Probably one of the best spots for vegans in Abu Dhabi.

I wish I could give them a 5 star because they are awesome but they can only get a 4 because they aren't a completely vegan restaurant. They are so vegan friendly they host vegan events monthly. They have vegan high tea and truly exceptional dishes for each type of food. We were blown away by Cafe 302.

We tried the Portobello Mushroom and Black Bean Burger and the Quinoa and white Bean Burger. I liked both burgers but I found the relish too sweet for my liking. Next time I would customize the burger a little. Vegan cheese would have been a nice addition to the burger. The Cinnamon Pumpkin Tart was to die for. I would definitely go back.

Breakfast and lunch/dinner options for vegans. I visited twice. First for a late lunch. I thought I’d go for the burger and instead was drawn in by the superfood bowl (edamame, sweet corn, tomato, avocado, kale, broccoli, and choice of either quinoa or cauliflower rice). Second time I was just in time to try their ful (Egyptian fava bean dish) breakfast. Both were excellent. They also have a vegan high tea special, almond milk on hand for substitutions, etc. super aware and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Cosy cafe in downtown Abu Dhabi. Nice selection of food on the separate vegan menu.i ordered a vegan burger which came with a (large) side or potato or sweet potato fries. The patty was substantial and made from lentils and cauliflower and drilled with lettuce; fresh tomato carrot, onion and a tomato relish.
