Vegan restaurant opened Mar 2014 by Veganz market that's next door. Serves lunch during the week, and breakfast on Saturday, plus brunch buffet on Sunday. During the evening hours the location is used for classes and events. Lunch includes pizza, soups, salads and other dishes. The brunch has lots of raw food options. JUL 2015 REPORTED SHUT, CHANGING BRANDING AND AND NAME TO "THE BASE."

Brunch has much room for improvements

We went to this place for the brunch they serve on Sundays, I was really looking forward to it as vegan brunch in Hamburg is very hard to find, but got pretty disappointed. The service was very poor, the girl very young and unexperienced. We had to wait quite long for our drinks as the place was pretty full. They were also not very attentive and dirty plates remained quite long on the tables.

The food was mainly consisting of raw vegan salads, some nut creams, jam etc (not self made), cold cuts (not self made) and some warm food which was more or less cold as it was not heated anymore which no one recognized until someone from the guests told them. The warm food was very simple, more or less all mashed up, either potatoes, vegetables or a soup, besides that not very tasty. The raw cake was very special and not really my taste.

For 15 Euros, drinks excluded, I would definitely go somewhere else for a nice breakfast until they change the service and the choice of food.

Super stylish café that serves excellent food!

This place is stylish and cosy at the same time. Friendly staff. The menu changes weekly and everything I had was excellent. Best vegan pizza I ever had.
