Amazing vegan food and super friendly staff in the heart of Barcelona - Edit
We stopped by CactusCat for brunch on our final day in Barcelona. Fully vegan menu with all day breakfasts and toasties! Our server was super friendly and the space has a really nice vibe. We will definitely visit when we are next in the city!

This is a small place in the heart of El Raval with a simple but very good vegan menu with plenty of options. The quinoa cróquets were a hit with our table and the fidua is very creatively prepared and delicious. And they are dog friendly which is nice.

We had a late lunch here and tried several dishes plus dessert. We enjoyed the paella which came with soup and bread, the Asian root vegetable tempura, croquettes and spring rolls. We had the muffins for dessert. Everything was delicious and we are planning to go back soon before we leave Barcelona.

This place is so good. first of all they have a great menu, all of which is vegan, from light bites to a more substantial meal. The food was so amazing with so much flavor. First time Barcelona goers and this was the first stop! Was not disappointed from start to finish. The man that met us at the door was fantastic, sadly we didn't get his name. He was very helpful in helping us order and providing recommendations. Fool was delicious and very generous portions, we basically had to roll ourselves out of the building. Every one was super friendly. If you're ever in this city please give them a go! P.s. try the patatas bravas.

CactusCat is a humble restaurant with top notch food, attention and prices. For this reason and it's unique friendliness it skyrocketed the charts of HappyCow years ago and still sits at the top comfortably.
Read moreThe reason is not bc it's the fanciest place ever, but because it's uncontested ratio of quality to quantity to price to attention to detail.
It's not that the food ain't excellent, bc it absolutely is. Fresh, homemade, comforting. The menu is not very big but every dish is a winner. Prices are very fair for the quality. And the waiters are lovely people who will make you feel at home.
Don't expect haute cuisine, just a 5 start experience in the coziest most ethical space.

El local pequeñito, personal muy atento y agradable. Lasaña top y para mi la tabla de quesos brutal. Probamos un poco de todo y la comida muy buena, pero el precio me parece súper excesivo.
