overpriced and empty - Edit
There was little products when I went on a Sunday. I felt obligated to buy something when walking in to the tiny store. One square of chocolate for 400 yen.

Visited Apr 15. This is a small store/cafe near Ginkakuji and the Philosopher's Path. A lovely setting and a pretty garden outside. I think the cafe is open only during high tourist seasons. Delicious sweets and cheesecake. Very expensive!!
Pros: delicious, great tourist location, beautiful setting
