No food after waiting 1.5 hrs

We were not acknowledged for 30 min. After that we ordered drinks and food. Of the 7 vegetarian options only 1 was available. After 45min we asked if the drinks could come out, which they did after 10 min. After waiting 1,5 hrs and every server dodging eye contact I walked to the kitchen to chevk how long it would still take. Was informed that the large table that sat down 45 min after us was to be served first, at which point I walked out hangry and upset to have waisted 1,5 hrs that could have been spend hiking the park.

Pros: Nice location & look, Nice fresh juice

Cons: Terrible service, Only 1 out of 7 vegetarian items available, Walked out without receiving food after 1,5 hrs

Excellent outdoor spot

This was not only one of the best meals I had while traveling in Colombia, but one of the best overall experiences. We had the menu if the day which featured three courses including soup, salad, pasta and hot cider. All were delicious and very inexpensive. The setting was beautiful with lovely views of the park. It was conveniently located just a short walk from the cable car. The owner was extremely nice and a real pleasure to meet.

Pros: Location, views, pricing

Cons: None

Marvelous experience, great food and lovely people

The place changed owner and name, its next to the restaurant cable-a-tierra that does serve meat. The lovely host explained she may have to move to another spot later this year too. Had a menu that featured soup, delicious mango salad and pasta with vegetables and falafell, which was the vegan option. Would definitely go back there!

Pros: Delicious food, Very friendly and lovely people

Awesome

The ladies that work here were so nice and gave us blankets. We told them we were vegan and they gave us so much vegan food. Sweetest server and an awesome view. Not as cheap as other places, but so much food.

Great option in Parque Arvi

We were grateful to find this place in Parque Arvi. It's surrounded by nature, has a lovely decoration and the owner is very sweet. Menu was a tiny more expensive than what we paid in restaurants in el poblado (COP 15,000). The soup was lovely, and so was the drink, typical from Colombia ('canelazo'). The main was a burrito filled with falafels, a creamy and tasty sauce, and some veggies. I just found it too greasy and filling. It was served with some lettuce mixed with mango and strawberry swimming in yoghurt. Make sure you mention that you don't eat dairy as they use cheese and yoghurt!

Pros: only option around , tasty and filling menu , lovely staff

Cons: not cheap, used dairy

frijolitos paisas y veganos deliciosos

Aunque todas sus comidas son ricas la cazuela de frijol es mi opción preferida en su carta. Recomendado.

Pros: zona turística y fácil transporte fuera de la ciud

Cons: No es muy visible desde la calle

Colombian vegetarian food

This small family run restaurant is located a short walk from the cable car. Look for the 100% Organic Coffee sign on the road when you come out cable car station (about 100m or so walk). I had the menu of the day, which was vegan, for $7,500 COP. The food was good and tasty, but not as fancy as some of the other veggie places I've eaten at in Medellin. Still, if you go to park it is worth checking out and the views are nice.

Pros: Good value, Tasty
