Cute place, but busy and limited vegan options - Edit
This place looks very nice and has a big terrace. They seem to be specialized in sweet foods, e.g. cakes, (raw) pies and breakfast and lunch items. The staf was allright, but rushed, probably due to the business.

Great place to go in Haarlem - Edit
This cafe is a nice place to stop off if you are in Haarlem and looking for somewhere with a good selection on the menu. We had a big breakfast and everything we tried was very tasty (a no-tuna open-faced sandwich, a muhammara open-faced sandwich, coffees and lime pie).

I had the lunch bowl, and although quite varied, I felt it missed some texture, like protein (seitan, or chickn strips or ...) and something like grain, rice, couscous or such (I believe it had some pearl couscous in between the lentils? But only a very small amount).

Surprising place with many vegan options and good location in the center on the market. You can catch the sun at lunchtime. Both chickpea sandwich and banana bread we had were excellent. Service was supper friendly and kind. Our coffee was delayed and they took it of the bill, an appreciated gesture :)

Amazing Café in the center of Haarlem - Edit
We had an amazing breakfast/brunch in By Lima. Only at least vegetarian and a lot of vegan choices, clearly labeled on the menu. Staff is very friendly and the atmosphere warm. Everything looked very tasty and was made with love. I took a cappuccino with oat milk, the (vegan) pancakes and later the avocado fries - everything tasted amazing.

We had the sweetpotato hummus bread and the chocolate chip pancakes. Both was very delicious. They offer plenty of vegan dishes and breakfast all day. The hot drinks can be ordered with different kinds of plant based milk. Would recommend.

Σήμερα ήρθα δεύτερη φορά στο μαγαζί ελπίζοντας να προλάβω να δοκιμάσω και κάτι από την κουζίνα. Δυστυχώς ήμουν πάλι αργά καθώς κλείνει η κουζίνα στις πέντε ενώ το καφέ είναι ανοιχτό μέχρι της επτά. Το γλυκό και το τσάι ήταν πολύ νόστιμα πάντως. Το προσωπικό εγκάρδιο, η ατμόσφαιρα χαλαρωτική και το μαγαζί καθαρό. Θα ξανάρθω.
