Pleasantly surprised - Edit
Lovely nature reserve with mountain biking, walking, running and red kite feeding at 3pm in summer and 2pm in winter. I was surprised to find that the café also does a number of vegan options. There were two cakes: lemon and raspberry and ginger and carrot. The latter was delicious with an oat milk coffee.
Read moreWe've since been back for lunch (vegan cheese and tomato baguette) and several more cakes. Always great food, always lovely staff, always red kites!
May 2024: they've updated the café and changed how they present everything. You can still get different types of vegan baguette (hummus and salad, cheese and tomato) and she promised me they still did the chocolate Jaffa cake!
