Great Referral From Rejoice

I have to say the staff at Rejoice referred us to try Buttermilk and I am happy they did. They had great options and even better service. So nice to have such great restaurants in the tri-city area.

Pros: Great Food, Great Service

Not the greatest for vegans

I did not add this listing to Happy Cow. But I have dined there so here's my review. Buttermilk has a special "Gluten Free & Vegan Menu" but there isn't much listed for vegans besides oatmeal and basic salads, or a veggie wrap that is just basic salad ingredients (lettuce & tomato) in a tortilla. The only other vegan option is the chickpea avocado mash that you can order without the egg (although you'll still be paying for that poached egg) and the flavor is bland. Hopefully they will offer more exciting vegan options in the future as this restaurant has a really fun vibe. But with a non-vegan food item (Buttermilk) as the restaurant's name, there is no surprise that the vegan menu options are not that great.

Pros: Great atmosphere if arrive early, A few basic vegan things, Good service

Cons: Very plain vegan foods, Can be noisy with long wait, No vegan pancakes or anything

Overpriced & limited options😒

The last time I was there they admitted to cooking their potatoes / hash browns in butter on the same grill as other non vegan items. The “vegan” options are very limited and not that good. It’s always crowded and busy and not worth your time. It’s also overpriced for what they give you.

Cons: Expensive , Non-accommodating , Busy
