Not the greatest for vegans - Edit

If you are vegan and you go to Buttermilk, you will feel a bit disappointed when you really look at their menu. Yes there is a special "Gluten & Vegan Menu" but there isn't much on there besides oatmeal and salads. Or a veggie wrap that is just salad ingredients in a tortilla. This is so disappointing for a place that could easily do so much more with vegan brunch items. The only other menu item is the chickpea avocado mash, that you can order without the egg (although you'll still be paying for that poached egg) and they put on way too much mash so you get sick of it after 5 bites, and it's bland. The avocado toast you make at home is probably much better so I'd say save your $15. It's just a bummer bc this restaurant could be so much better for vegans. The owners are trying and that is appreciated, but they really don't get it yet.

Cons: Boring selection of vegan foods, Can get very noisy with long table wait-time, Sad that their aren't better vegan menu items
