be quick they need to move again! - Edit

Buttercream Dreams is a cute little vegan cafe with friendly staff. Unfortunately they are having trouble finding an affordable space to rent in London!! Who isn't? So they are due to move again next week. Go support them quick.! The Burrito is recommended.

Pros: inexpensive, friendly, on edge of Camden Town

Cons: Uncertain future, phone first!

RichMoly 30 Aug 2016 - That's strange Jon, I'd read that Lauren had cited 'health issues' (not sure whose, I'll ask her) as the reason for closure...

Amazing! - Edit

So I had 2 hours between trains coming home and found Buttercream Dreams on here.
I had a delicious hot dog, a rocky-road type chocolate cake and a milkshake with chocolate sauce and a chewy biscuit crumbled into it...In hindsight maybe this was a little too much food to wolf down!
They were absolutely delicious, I bought 2 sausage rolls, and some biscuits and cakes to take home for my mum and fiance and they raved about them as well.
Only negatives: very small! But that can't helped, lucky I got in when I did as it filled up quickly, but you could just take your food to go! Also forgot one of the cakes I'd ordered to take away - but in fairness I ordered quite a bit and they were busy xD
Very lucky that I'm back in London in 2 weeks with my mum so we can visit here again - very excited, see on the 3rd!

Pros: Delicious food, Very friendly service!, Decent portions

Cons: Very small

great! - Edit

We had a really tasty burrito here. Can't wait to go back to try the cakes!
The staff were super friendly, things seemed slightly disorganised, but I think it's because they have only recently opened.

Pros: fresh & tasty food, cake

Cons: a tiny bit disorganised

Buttercream Dreams in CAMDEN - Edit

I had the vegan brunch, (avocado on bagel, sausage, redwoods style bacon slice, home made beans, mushrooms, tofu scramble, pancakes and syrup) followed by a chocolate oreo surprise inside cupcake, followed by jammy dodger cake.

The brunch was ok. I liked that it included homemade pancakes and syrup

The cupcake was delicious but did not have as much icing as I would like (I have a sweet tooth and I like the butter icing to totally cover the top of a cupcake all the way to the edges - I really want equal parts cake and icing)

The jammy doger cake was ok

Nice enough, but it didn't rock my world

Pros: Lovely seating area, busy friendly atmosphere, numerous vegan cake options

Cons: no customer toilet!

Friendly, delicious, and converts omnivores! - Edit

A cosy gem of a place tucked away next to a huge fruit and veg market.
The staff are welcoming, and the food is fresh and homemade. I definitely recommend this to those who love healthy meals or indulgent treats that are cruelty free. My omnivore friend turned vegan shortly after eating here, having thought the cake was better than "normal" cakes, and ended up stealing half of my lunch (a bean stew).

Pros: Delicious enough to turn omnivores vegan! , Caters to all sorts of dietary needs , Friendly

Great vegan café! - Edit

So nice to have a vegan café in what is a pretty barren area for vegans. I tried the vegan burger, which was deliciously, especially the homemade slaw, and the side of plantains. The cakes are amazing too - light, fluffy and not too sweet. Really nice staff. I'll be back regularly!

Pros: Delicious food, Friendly service, Really nice place
