Quality over quantity

There are only two vegan choices here, but both are absolutely delicious and filling, which is why I've given it 4 stars. I think the hummus on sourdough is probably the best in York (and my scant description does not do it justice, as it's soo much more). I alternate the hummus dish with the mushrooms on sourdough and am never disappointed. Whoever I'm walking on that side of the river in York, I'll happily take the two minute detour to grab lunch at Busk, with a good cup of coffee or pot of tea. On a nice day, have the hummus sourdough as a takeaway and sit by the river - delightful.

Decent

A few vegan options, not many, but I will say VERY tasty! 3 stars as 4 would be the best for a non-vegan establishment but knocked one off for the few options.
