Delicious and fresh - Edit

What a find!! The atmosphere is casual and fun. There were many vegan options on the menu. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there. The quesadillas were the best I've ever had. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. Would definitely return.

Pros: Excellent food, Good value, Friendly staff

Cons: None

Lots of options - Edit

Stopped by with some friends after a conference. This place has a huge selection of veg fare (all of which is well labeled) as well as non-veg food, so it's a great place to go with a group of people with diverse palates.

I had a hard time deciding what to order, since they had so many enticing vegan options to choose from - nachos, burgers, wraps, and sandwiches. They even have a vegan dessert menu. I ended up ordering the vegan tuna sandwich with tabouleh. Both were fresh and tasty.

I also liked the space quite a bit. The restaurant has high ceilings with many glass windows. It's well lit and feels very spacious, even when they're brimming with customers. There's also cool art throughout the place and a bookstore in front. Lastly, the service is friendly.

Definitely a nice spot to meet up with friends.

Pros: Beautiful space , Lots of vegan options

wonderful vegan options! - Edit

I live in DC, and this is my "regular" place. I love going to a place that has vegan and meat options so I can go there with anyone and everyone. They rotate the menu about once a season, but some of the things that seem to stay on there are vegan tuna sandwich (not a fake tuna but actually a chick pea and seaweed salad mix), vegan Cobb salad, vegan nachos, and every summer they bring back a yellow tomato gazpacho that is awesome.

New location old flavors - Edit

What a nice addition to the neighborhood to have a Busboys and Poets! This location is one that has plenty of outdoor seating, which allows you to have some nice weather accompaniment to your meal. The fare is the standard American western menu of paninis, burgers, appetizers and a few entree dishes. They have a huge selection of vegetarian options, and then there are about a dozen choices for vegan items like meatballs, crab cakes, falafel sandwich, beans and rice, gazpacho, sweet potato fries, quinoa, orzo pasta, pizza with Daiya and nachos.

For dessert and brunch, you also have some good vegan choices here too including tofu scramble, burritos, yogurt, soup, Cobb salad, brownie, ice cream and home fries.

Simple but it'll do the trick!

Pros: Vegan items marked , Gluten free items marked, Good selection

Cons: No gluten free vegan dessert
