Serves meat, vegan options available. Thai restaurant offering several choices for vegans, including pad Thai, tom kha soup, stir fry and khao soi, plus all curries can be made vegan. Uses the local brand 'Silverking' tofu. (When you walk through the door into their intimate setting, your senses will be filled with the sights, sounds and smells of Thailand.) Temporarily relocated from 524 Victoria St as of Mar 2021. Open Mon-Sat 11:30am-2:30pm, Mon-Sun 5:00pm-8:30pm.

Good and filling green curry - Edit
I liked their green curry with eggplant and tofu. They have several vegan dishes that are labelled as such or that can be made vegan (be sure to mention that you want it to be vegan so they omit the fish sauce).

Got the green curry, which was so flavourful and delicious, and the pad Thai which was good but not very flavourful. Will definitely be back to try more curry!

Excellent Thai food with plenty of vegan options - Edit
We got takeaway from Busaba April 3rd as due to the virus situation there is no eating in. However we have eaten here lots of times and we’ve never had a bad meal.
Read moreI had messaged prior to ordering as it isn’t clear on the menu what is and isn’t vegan (I’ve only just gone fully vegan since Dec 2019). I got a prompt reply back listing the vegan options and what could be made vegan. Unfortunately none of the starters are vegan, but there are 2 vegetarian options. Pad Thai, Tom Kha Soup, the stir fries, khao soi and the curries are or can be made vegan. We opted for the Pad Thai and the Bangkok Penang curry, both with local silverking tofu. Both were really good. Staff were friendly and vegan knowledgeable.
