The veg burritos at Baja are big enough to split between 2 people and the guacamole was very good. I also ordered the green goddess smoothie, which is vegan and it was fresh and tasty. The server understood vegan and had no issues making the veggie burrito without dairy. A lot of the veg options in the area are only open for dinner so I recommend checking Baja out for a relaxed, inexpensive lunch.

Five Stars - Super Vegan Friendly - Edit

We’ve been to this place 3 times and it’s fantastico! The burritos are giant, we’ve taken extra back and made extra meals from them. The guacamole is the best in Cabo. You won’t be disappointed in this place. It’s a short walk from downtown. Yum!

Pros: Delicious, Inexpensive, Large Portions

Delicous, inexpensive, huge portions - Edit

After seeing some reviews of this place, we ventured out of our hotel and into town to visit this spot. It was easy to find based on the cross streets provided. The other reviewers are right- the portions are GIGANTIC. Definitely split the burrito with someone. And the guacamole is outstanding - the best we had in Mexico. The owner is super sweet and accommodating, and the outdoor patio is very pleasant. Definitely will go back.

Pros: Huge portions, Inexpensive, Fresh vegetables

Cons: Not much of a breeze on the patio

Best guacamole in Centro - Edit

...and the veggie burrito is massive - seriously, bring a friend.

Guacamole is made fresh/to order, and is enough to serve 3-4 people as an appetizer. My partner and I ordered the guac, vegetarian tacos, and the veggie burrito (vegan style), along with the house iced tea (hibiscus - yum!); our total order was under $20 USD, and was definitely enough to fill us up.

As of this writing, they don't serve beer, but their house iced tea is pretty fantastic, and IMHO, something you have to try at least once.

The staff member that was on when we went there, was very friendly and helpful.

All-in-all, this is a great little place to catch a bite most any time of the afternoon or evening, and definitely one you should hit up if you're wandering around downtown Cabo.

Pros: BEST guac ever!, Really good food/beverages, Friendly staff

Cons: None, unless one insists on beer with each meal

Fat Burritos even for Vegans! - Edit

Really fresh and tasty Burritos, plus tacos, quesadillas, etc. etc. Amazing vegan Guacamole. I had the Rainforest Burrito which was full of Black Beans, Avo, Broccoli, Spinach, Peppers, Garlic, Rice and Salsa. Was delicious and over filling.
Nice thing about this place is that even though they serve some seafood and meat, When you order Vegan, you don't end up getting something half the size of the meat ones. A problem I've found at a lot of other Taquerias / Taco Shops.
Also have a Vegan Horchata. Great quick stop or sit down after a day on the water or touring.
You'll End up spending $6 U.S. ($65 Mex) to $10 U.S. ($110 Mex). Definately Recommended if you've got a mixed crowd of veg / carni.

Pros: Tasty and Filling Vegan options, Nice Atmosphere, Friendly and Fresh

Cons: serves seafood & meat

Excellent vegan & gluten meal w/ friendly service - Edit

Sorry I can't be totally specific about what we ate, because it was a couple weeks ago. But it involved a burrito bowl (i.e., all the ingredients of a burrito, minus the actual tortilla), featuring some wonderfully favored beans, some very tasty sautéed veggies, some great salsa, fresh tortilla chips and the best damned guacamole I've ever had. The guy literally made the guacamole while we watched. The waiter's English was fantastic, so my "no cheese, no cream" request was followed perfectly. The beer was nice and cold, the food prep area appeared clean, and the restroom was A-OK. I'd give it a five star rating, but I'm only allowed to give it four stars because it's not a vegetarian restaurant. If you're a Mexican food liking vegan in Cabo, you should eat here.

Pros: Freshly made food, Central location, Great service.

A great vegetarian find! - Edit

There are just a few things the description of this restaurant are missing. There are more vegtables available than mentions. They also have green peppers, celery, cucumber and carrots plus those that are mentioned, onions, mushrooms, zuchini and a yummy corn salsa. In adition to the black beans they also have rice, guacamole, pico de gallo and a great fruit salsa with mango, cucumber, pinapple and chipotle. All these ingredients you can wrap up into a burrito or a burrito bowl, tacos, nachoes, or a quesadiila.. Excelent vegetarian option and a very reasonable price. Fast and great service.

Pros: delicious food, great prices, convenient and quick
