I am unhealthily obsessed

As others have mentioned, it is attached to a gas station. Do not let that scare you. You won't get free chips and there is no alcohol so don't expect to order a margarita. You are going here for the main meal... aka the giant vegetarian chimichanga, sub vegan sour cream. And by main meal, I mean your next two meals, because this thing is huge. The salsa lacks flavor in my opinion, so skip your order of chips unless you're getting guac. I'm sure some other options are good too, but the chimichanga stole my heart from the beginning so I see no reason to play with perfection.

Great little shop

I’ve actually only been here before I went vegan, but loved it because they use fresh, local ingredients. Everything I have ever had has been wonderful!

DELICIOUS

I love this place, so friendly and inviting atmosphere. Their nachos are awesome and they don't skimp out on the vegan cheese and sour cream.

Nice, knowledgeable service. Great food. This is not lighter fare, this is fill-your-tummy goodness. Prices are great too.

Burrito Perdido

My family and I went to Burrito Perdido tonight and the food was absolutely amazing. The vegetarian chimichangas were so good. They have vegan cheese and sour cream available upon request. The chips with homemade guacamole and salsa were delicious. Everything is fresh and made to order. The entire staff is friendly and attentive. Will definitely be my go to restaurant for mexican food.

Pros: Vegan cheese and sour cream

Cons: None

Great Food & Prices

Went to Burrito Perdido with my hubby. Loved that menu items could be veganized and the owner is very accommodating. They do offer vegan cheese and sour cream and the ingredients are fresh and well seasoned. You should definitely try the chips w/ salsa or house guacamole...very yummy!
Inside the establishment, it is a great atmosphere and very clean. The staff is pleasant and the food was made properly and promptly.
We will definitely return and I absolutely recommend! :)

Pros: Would like seasoned tofu as an option

Cons: Vegan cheese & sour cream options, Owner shows vegan love and accommodation, Clean, nice atmosphere inside

Great Vegan Food

I tried this place after seeing it online and it is great! Vegan Sour Cream and Vegan Cheese and all the vegetables are fresh. He soaks both pinto and black beans the old fashion way and doesn't get them from a can. Not to mention, he makes homemade ice cream bars and two are vegan!! You have to try this place, it's worth it.

Pros: Fresh Veggies and Beans, not from a can, Best salsa you will find, Vegan Sour Cream and Cheese

Cons: Haven't found one.

Great find... Thanks to HappyCow!

Found this place here on HappyCow and thought, "eh another Moe's, we'll try it." Wow, was I wrong. What a difference fresh vegetables make! They have Vegan sour cream and Vegan cheese, and make a fresh hot salsa or "hot sauce." Food was made very quick; I believe we had just enough time to fill our sodas and the food was ready. Only real "CON" is I would like a mock meat and/or some tofu.

If you're in the mood for fast and filling Mexican food please give them a try.

Limited menu - burritos, chimichangas, salads, tacos, nachos. I will try and go back again this weekend and take some pictures of their menu and prices.

Oh, and don't let the location fool you!! It is easily accessible, but connected to a gas station. Nonetheless, the restaurant was very clean and the employees were very friendly.

Pros: Fresh/Quick, Clean/Friendly, Delicious!!!!!

Cons: No "mock meat", Closed on Mondays

Delicious and Healthy

We were in the Virginia Beach area in August and looking for healthy food options. The place is a ways out and next to a gas station, but it's clean, has a good atmosphere and is a true diamond in the rough. They use a lot of organic and non-processed ingredients and for Mexican food it's about as healthy as I've ever seen. Oh and did I mention it tastes sensational as well. They will work with you to customize a healthy fare by adding or leaving out things. Much better than Moes or Chipotle. I'm a picky, mostly raw eater and would go out of my way to go here again if I'm ever in the area.

Pros: Great food, Healthy ingredients, Aim to please attitude
