American style - Edit

Most vegetarian Mexican food in Australia is Australianised. I like Burp because the style is more authentic. They have black beans and don't put zucchini in everything. There's also some very spicy sauce available. I think they are offering a vegan option now of jackfruit, but that's not authentic Mexican food. Stick with the beans rice tomatoes jalapenos and salsa.

Not bad if you need a quick cheap meal - Edit

We were walking down hindley street with nothing else grabbing our attention, saw they had vegetarian options so went in and asked if they could do vegan. the staff were very helpful and one was indeed vegan themselves. all the dishes could be made vegan with the breads and beans all vegan by default. overall the food was OK, it wasn't special but I'd definitely go again if I was in the area and hungry. more filling than other chain Mexican fast food outlets.

Pros: Refried beans are vegan, clearly marked vegan sauces

Cons: limited menu of just tacos, burritos etc.

Like Subway but Mexican style - Edit

This is a very casual fast food style place that was pretty much like subway but with a choice between burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas or tacos. I tried the vegetarian burrito and it was fine, but nothing special. It came with two types of beans, rice, salsa, and then you can choose what else goes in (I had sweetcorn, jalapeño, tomato, lettuce, coriander and guacamole (they also offer raw onion, cheese, sour cream and a few other sauces). No vegan cheese available.
