Staff were very accommodating

Lunch at this restaurant was included as part of my stay at the hotel. The meal included in my booking was a set meal which wasn't vegan. When I checked in at the hotel, the staff member made a note of my dietary requirements. It seems like this may not have been passed to the restaurant but when I explained to the waiters, they were very accommodating.

Some of the mezze was accidentally vegan (houmous, bread, fattoush salad, olives) and they pointed out which things weren't. They brought me an extra rocket salad. For my main, they made various different rice stuffed vegetables (vine leaves, courgette, aubergine). It was very tasty but I forgot to take a photo.

My non-vegan friend got a whole plate of different desserts but I got nothing. I wasn't overly bothered because I don't have a particularly sweet tooth but I would have appreciated them giving me a plate of fruit.

Pros: Very accommodating , Taste

Cons: No dessert offered

Good food and service

We were staying in another smaller hotel at the dead sea and were looking for something new besides our hotel restaurant. Camparing the online menu, we saw that to out surprise that they have the same prices.

To enter the Crown Plaza you have to pass the security and a closed gate and they they scan your bags
In the entrance. You have to walk a bit to the restaurant as the complex is quite huge.

The restaurant staff is very nice and speaks English. We shared some mezze and as everywhere in Jordania it was quite a lot. We had the hummous with pines (although it was listed under the hot appetizers it was cold), the beetroot salad, muhammara (walnut pepper cream), babaganoush (eggplant cream) served with warm delicious pita. All of the food was very good.
